"We were checked into our room and I walked in on a young girl in her underwear. "

"Overall it was an okay experience. We arrived at the check in time however, our room was still not ready. Housekeeping only occurred every second day. The room could use some more attention to detail when cleaning. High touch areas such as the fridge, door handles, and door frames (because there’s a barn door) were filthy. We were on the lower level so we could hear footsteps above. Walls were also super thin, we could hear loud music and conversations from other guests. The front counter closes over night so there is no one to report issues too. With that being said, the location was great because it’s so close to the beach. If travelling with a family, I’d suggest to go during the week as there are many bars/clubs close by. I’d recommend the hotel conduct a deep clean to ensure there is no residue from previous guests in high touch ateas and offer daily towel exchanges. "

"Steps from the beach! Huge plus! Family of four, we got a basic two queen room, which was clean. A/C worked well. Bathroom was small (not a big deal), but the shower was big, which is great. Water pressure great. My older kids enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard to chill outside. Not a big chain hotel, but they're clearly working on providing good rooms as I noticed a few rooms were going through a remodel process. Would stay here again. "

"The hotel location was absolutely ideal for beach goers! The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we checked in. The included breakfast was a great perk (especially traveling with a seven year old). We loved our stay and will be back! "

"Great location for PB. Easy to walk to the store, beach, and restaurants. Food and beverages staff at the resort were meh. Pool bar was never open. Front desk staff had the best customer service and were the most friendly. "

"Paradise Point is a very nice, clean, property. The staff are all very helpful. There are lots of things to do on site and the restaurants are excellent. Nice beaches you can walk to and plenty of scenery without ever leaving the resort. Would definitely stay here again."

"Room was nice and clean for our family of 4 (2 teens). The front desk and cafe staff were wonderful and made our stay sweeter, and we appreciated the complimentary beach chairs. Property is not brand new but is well kept and quaint, and location was great for both walking places as well as hopping in the car to see the universities, La Jolla, the Midway - pretty central to everything. Would stay here again! "

"Quick easy, nice stay."

"Great location. Air conditioning in the queen suite takes a long time to impact the bedroom and the temperature at the thermostat never seemed to accurately reflect what I felt in the bedroom and and as result, it was hard to get a comfortable sleeping temperature. Also, walls are beyond paper thin and on my first night, two guests in the room next to me decided to have a conversation between 3-4am and it almost sounded like they were in the room with me and as a result, I got very little sleep that night."
