Fantastic Stay on the Columbia
I had a great time staying here. The rental is very clean, cozy, comfortable, and well outfitted with appliances. The view is incredible, and Kim the host is super friendly and accommodating. I really could not have picked a better place to stay and I will be recommending this listing to my friends and family. Pictures don't do the view justice and I hope to stay here again soon!

Perfect location and amazing view
This studio has everything you need for 2 people to comfortably stay. We were here an entire month and loved every day of it! The view is simply incredible and the photos don't do any justice of the Columbia river, the gorge, Mt. Hood, and the private beach area. The inside is more spacious than we expected and you can tell that everything was built with good quality. Everything was clean and we felt so nice waking up here each day. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was VERY comfortable, and there was even an area to store all of our things. Kim was very kind and helpful and we were happy to be able to spend an evening getting to know her. We couldn't have asked for more!

Just what we needed!
Just book it! The perfect space to relax, cook, read, sleep...whatever makes you happy. The views are incredible. It was the perfect size for us and I loved the views from the bed...so peaceful to wake up to. We hiked each day and returned to make dinner and relax, just what we wanted!

Excellent waterfront location

A Little Piece of Heaven
A wonderful location to relax and enjoy watching the active Columbia with its boaters, fisherman, barges, and Wildlife! We had no TV on for three nights and days! The little Lanai was a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring and hiking.. We will definitely come back when we need another Escape in a safe and comfortable location.

Spend more than a weekend
Not expecting to find any waterfront over the 4th of July, but was blessed with a last-minute cancelation. Directly on the Columbia River with spectacular views of river traffic, wildlife, fireworks, plenty of places to explore. Well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Thanks, Kim! Will definitely return.

Beautiful spot on THE river!
The views are wonderful! We woke up to birds singing and a calm view of the Columbia River and Mt Hood. We spent each day exploring the Pacific NW... Oregon Coast, Mt Rainier, Mt Hood and tons of local hikes and trails. Then each evening we relaxed with the same calm view and birds singing us to sleep. Awesome home away from home!

Relaxing getaway. Truly a million dollar view
we spent 5 nights here and didn't want to leave. This place is probably one of the most comfortable and relaxing places we have stayed in. Just sitting on the couch, or out on the patio listening to all the birds and watching the river flow by was amazing. We will be back. Do not miss out on this little gem. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Kim for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

On the water, incredible view!
Could Not believe view from this place! Directly on the Columbia River and MT Hood on the horizon. Every morning sunrise and in the evening sunset!! Clean, easy in and out, a treat! Definitely a couples retreat!

Pretty but....
Loved the location of this property. The ad was a little misleading. We thought there was more outdoor space for us to enjoy. The deck was very small but appreciated. We would have liked a few resin Adirondack chairs near the water which would have been lovely in the evening. We read the manual thoroughly upon arrival to ensure that we respected the home. The directions for the AC were followed but apparently the owner had a change that wasn't included in the book. Not a problem but we felt very bad when we got sticky notes correcting us. Recommend that the linens, including blankets for pullout sleeper, be freshened up. (I realize that is a reflection on the cleaning service and not the owner so this is offered as feedback for them.). We felt very safe at this location which is a big plus for our family. Also the location was in the middle of what we wanted to do....visit the falls and explore Portland. LOVE that. Overall this was a very nice experience which we would recommend and do again. THANKS.

Even better than advertised!
I can’t imagine a more peaceful location! The garden out the back is beautiful and the view of the river was amazing! The house had everything we needed including a great sleep on a super comfy mattress. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again when in the area.

Camas/Vancouver Place to stay!
What a wonderful VRBO! Come for the views, but stay for the comfortable bed, nice furnishings and well stocked kitchen. We agree with all the other reviews about the location, so I won't repeat. Some other details, though: Unit has a few basic spices/seasonings which is so helpful. There is a grill on the smallish deck connected to the VRBO. The sun pours into the space from big windows and two skylights. Which is wonderful! However, there is no way to make it a dark space during the day. So if you want to be a late or day sleeper, this would be tricky. When we are visiting family in Vancouver the next time, we hope Kim and her wonderful VRBO are available.

Perfect place!!
This lovely home in Camas, Washington, is beyond beautiful. We enjoyed the tranquil river with beautiful birds and river life. Relaxing is sooo easy! Our stay was wonderful. Kim was there if we needed her and her VRBO property had everything you would need. Stores are close by. Just a great experience. If we are up that way, wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!

Just what we were looking for
We were in Camas for a baseball tournament and this worked out perfect. Location was just minutes away and we hit a beautiful stretch of weather so the view as beautiful!

Perfect getaway
This is the perfect getaway! The check-in process was very simple. Kim greeted us shortly after we arrived and said we could call her with questions. She has a binder with menus of local restaurants that was helpful. We loved the views and watching the boats go up and down the Columbia River. Every morning and evening we would watch the Canadian geese, bunnies and other birds in the yard. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. We had forgotten our shampoo so it was nice that there were several choices of shampoo to use in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies we would have needed if we wanted to cook but we ate out every day. The convenience of being so close to Vancouver and Portland allowed us to go on several hikes. We hope to stay here next time we come to the area.

Wonderful and helpful host. The accommodations were perfect. There were spectacular views from the windows of Mt Humphreys and the Colombia River. Nicely equipped kitchenette . Very comfortable bed! Relaxation retreat!
Kim provides a beautiful upstairs flat overlooking the river gorge and views of Mt Hood. The sound of her pond below is very relaxing to listen to as you sit on the outside deck and enjoy the view. She provides many amenities to enjoy your stay and was very hospitable with allowing us to join her around her fireplace. I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing visit near Camas, WA.

Beautiful View!
The Columbia River Retreat was great! The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed in it, and it was peaceful and quiet. The area was beautiful with the Columbia River as our "backyard" and Mt. Hood in the distance. We are planning on return in 2020. Thank you, Kim.

I don't recommend much.
It wasn't the whole house, but it was the place to share with the owner. It was hard to carry a carrier because it was on the second floor. It was hard to find the entrance and difficult because the owner was not properly guided. There were many flies in the house. I asked for insect spray, but I was not provided. The facilities are old. I couldn't enjoy the view because of the bad weather. Without a car, it's hard to go to the dorm. I don't recommend much here.

Min, Sorry that your stay didn't meet your expectations. The studio is above my home and had its own private entrance, with a short set of stairs. Downtown Camas is within walking distance with local eating, breweries, and shopping. The entrance is on the side of the house with a lighted pathway. The view of Mt hood is spectacular when the weather is clear.

Great location, views and comfortable home.
We came down to camas to play in s pickleball tournament and needed a place to stay that was close to the. Ensue and also close to town. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed watching the boat traffic on the river go by. We were able to cook our dinners in the evening and enjoyed the balcony and sitting out there in the evenings. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The couch folds out into a nice bed and the regular bed was very comfortable. It was a great place for my girlfriend and I to stay while playing in the tournament.

Unbelievable Views!
We had a short stay at Camas and it was Fantastic for my wife and myself. Lots of local places within walking distance, very quite neighborhood and Great morning and night views!! The apartment was very comfortable and the grill was great to use outside! Definitely would stay here again!

Fabulous views, great location, very private retreat
The pics don’t do these views justice. We loved being right on the gorge and so close to the shops and dining in town as well as plenty of hikes and tourist activities. Hiked Lacamas, Beacon Rock and went to the Bridge of the Gods, the Cascade Locks and Multnomah Falls. Loved downtown Camas area for dinner. Had to also try all the breweries around. The apartment was perfect for my husband and me. We love the privacy and space over hotel rooms and having the kitchen is a bonus. We just did easy breakfasts and were out and about for lunches and dinner. Room had everything we needed and wade very clean and comfortable. We came to visit family and will want to stay here for all our future visits.

Sunshine, warm temps, Columbia river at our feet..
The studio is a great space for two people.. it’s comfortable, cozy, has a great balcony overlooking the north side of the Columbia river with Mt. Hood in the east! Kim is a considerate person who goes out of her way to ensure your expectations are exceeded.. as she did ours. Activities abound.. sternwheeling on the Columbia, trail trekking, enjoying great restaurants in Camas (try Hey Jack and Feast 316, or Roots and Kitchen 360 close by.. a perfectly great stay!

RIVER HOUSE
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LENDING US YOUR SPACE. WE LOVED THE VIEWS AND PEACEFULNESS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. MY HUSBAND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE TV CHOICES AS HE COULDN'T WATCH FOOTBALL. THAT WAS OKAY BY ME. IT WASN'T AS PRIVATE AS I WAS EXPECTING BUT IT WASN'T HORRIBLE. THE DOWNTOWN AREA IS CUTE AND QUAINT.WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE.

A little slice of Heaven
My husband and I chose this apartment for a week as a base from which to explore north and south of the Columbia River. It was our first time in the area and met our expectations well. The place was spotless, comfortable and bright with a wonderful vista over the river. The bed was firm and comfortable. We made good use of the balcony, using the BBQ frequently. The kitchen was small, but sufficiently equipped for a short stay and had a good selection of sharp knives, although it would have been good to have had a salad bowl and serving spoons, a tray and a brush for cleaning the BBQ. There was enough storage for our clothes and for storing luggage. We enjoyed sitting in our outside area downstairs. The internet was good, the smart TV useful and there was parking on the drive. Our host was available during our stay to answer questions and was responsive when we had an internet problem. Safeway is 5 minute drive away. There are so many places to recommend visiting. Certainly a visit to Portland is a must; we took the park and ride from Fisher, which was easy and a $5 allows you access to all transport-we did achieve the 4T loop-train, tram, trolley and trail-great idea. We enjoyed the Magic Mile chairlift from Timberline Lodge up Mount Hood, Trillium Lake, Bonneville Dam, Route 30 with Hood River Multnomah waterfalls and Vista House at Crown Point. Great area too for hiking, although several trails were closed due to earlier fires, there is enough elsewhere.

Truly a "Million Dollar" View, and "Retreat getaway!"
Our stay at Kim's home was fantastic! She met us upon our arrival, and made our welcome so inviting. She was always available, and checking in with us. The panoramic view was mountainous, spacious, intriguing, and delightful...absolutely gorgeous! ...The apartment was cozy, and so comfortable. Besides the indoor amenities, the landscape was nothing less than breathtaking! We even had the opportunity to feed the beautiful Koi fish pond that Kim has on the property. There is a mini 3 hole putting range that we played several times, and just to relax and fall asleep to the sound of the Columbia River and the onsite pond was so cool! Truly a fun and relaxing spot to vacation in beautiful Camas Washington. We would go back!

We will be back!
You won’t find a better place to stay! This was perfect for my husband and I. The view is truly amazing and peaceful. Kim is super friendly and had all the details you would need. We were away from the hustle of downtown but with easy access to get anywhere we needed to go. This will be our top choice for any trips back to the Portland area.

Just what we needed
A very tranquil setting with just the perfect mix of rest and relaxation. Kim has thought of everything to make things absolutely comfortable with at-home comforts. We were not at this home long enough due to many birthday activities in Portland, but if we return, we would have definitely cooked our meals and lounged outside sharing a pot of hot coffee or a bottle of wine. We had our space away my family which was well needed and appreciated! We enjoyed returning to Kim’s comfortable setting, lovely garden with views of the river, and countryside. Mount Hood was a bit sheepish although we did see its splendor as dusk was falling Friday evening! Thank you Kim for offering a perfect setting and for being a gracious host—even when I locked ourselves out! Would highly recommend!

A very clean, comfortable space. Close to everything and beautiful views of the river & Mt Hood.
Thanks so much to Kim for providing a wonderful spot, close to the city, and close to the views. Best of both worlds. The upstairs studio is very clean and comfortable with everything you'll need for a stay. Just make sure you have clothes for your stay ready, as there is no laundry washer/dryer/iron. The river side wall has huge windows that provide a scenic view all day long. Its only about a 20 minute drive in any direction to have fun. Camas is a beautiful little town to visit and Portland is just across the bridge. For a nature lover with a lady who likes the city life, its a win win. I would stay here again on my next visit.

Why stay anywhere else if you can stay here?
We spent several weeks at this amazing studio while house hunting. We couldn't have found a better vacation rental! You truly get a 'million dollar view' over the beautiful Columbia river. I loved to sit on the sofa or the little balcony and just watch the river, the geese and ducks, birds, and even a couple of seals. The studio is equipped with everything you might need and more, even a BBQ grill, popcorn machine, waffle maker, and blender. I highly recommend booking this place!

This was a little slice of heaven! The view was spectacular from the studio... our hostess Kim was so gracious and friendly and gave us some great ideas for our hiking adventures! The studio itself had every thing we needed and was so clean and comfortable! Only 15 minutes from airport ... gorgeous safe neighborhood. The town of camas has everything close by... my daughter and I are hoping to come back and would definitely book this again

Views, views, views! Beautiful, peaceful, restful.
The studio is bright and cheery with views from every angle. We stayed with our 2 children, 11 and 10. The pull out sofa bed was sufficient for them both. The queen size pillow top was perfect for my husband and I. The ductless heating and cooling system makes it very comfortable. The kitchen is small, only 2 burners, no oven. But there is an electric skillet as well. Refrigerator is a dorm size so be conscience about how much food you bring. Restroom and shower were great and no issues with plenty of hot water. She supplies lots of soaps and shampoos in case you forget. There is a blowdryer too. We loved waking up to the sounds of the lapping water onto the shore, the gorgeous view of Mt. Hood and chirping birds. We even had a seal visit! You could fish or launch a kayak off the property but there is a marina a few blocks away too. Our host was very gracious and helpful. You can get to major grocery stores within minutes Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Perfect combination of rest and nature activities.
