Pelican Inn & Suites

Pelican Inn & Suites

8/10 Good
"Our stay at the pelican was nice, we had a room with an ocean view. The room was equipped with a fireplace, comfortable bed and a balcony, where we sat and had a glass of wine and enjoying the ocean view. and all the amenities. It was centrally located and close to Cambria shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend."

Castle Inn

Castle Inn

8/10 Good
"I was very disappointed with my room . It was the smallest room I’ve ever seen. There was no place to sit and eat. There was a chair but no table or desk . No place to put together food . The built in shelves with the closet was okay but when you open the luggage rack it doesn’t fit in the closet so you have to use the little open space on the floor and it was very inconvenient. I felt as if it was a room for overflow. Personally I think it should only be used with the connecting room it as an individual room. If my stay had been any longer I would asked for a different room or stayed elsewhere. Before I stayed at castle inn I stayed at The Adelaide in Paso Robles for 5 nights and it was amazing. Considering the cost is for the room and if it’s not pleasant it puts a damper on your getaway. Everything else was good. Staff very pleasant and helpful, the grounds were clean and inviting. The pool and hot tub were great and the beach access was good. Not sure I’d stay there again due to the cost and what the room was like."

"We arrived late and just wanted to relax and the fire pit closes at 9:00 p.m. so the group that was around the pit had to go back into their own rooms. If you could keep the fire pit open later that would be nicer. Overall our stay was very nice and we will come back."

El Colibri Hotel & Spa

El Colibri Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"Clean small hotel. Right next to the path down to the beach and the parking spots were huge and many spots available. Room was very large, had a room that faced HWY 1, but was quiet to outside noise. Refrigerator (microwave in lobby), walking distance to the main street, close to Hearst Castle, Fireplace in room and fan, and HVAC was easy to adjust, TV had LOTS of channels and was large, Wellness center had two steam rooms and a hot tub with robes, very clean and nice. Walls are thin, but hotel isn't responsible for guests who blare their TV and open and slam doors all night-that's just bad hotel guests that have not spatial awareness, so can't blame hotel, but if you are a light sleeper this might not be a good choice for you. Check in was easy and was able to check in early, friendly woman."

Cambria Beach Lodge

Cambria Beach Lodge

8/10 Good
"It’s located close to town right off of the beach. They have bread for each morning and Coffee. There’s a nice lookout upstairs to lounge and have your Coffee, work on your computer, etc. rooms are nice but a little bit smaller than most in the area they get a little bit warm to and could use worse air circulation. There’s only a couple rooms that point towards the ocean. One being in the house on the upstairs and room one. Other than that, none of them give you a direct ocean view. They do give you bikes to use and are welcoming to their guest. Parking is pretty easy to get in out of."
