“We enjoyed our time in this cozy top floor apartment. It has a nice view of the sea, the church and the fort from a rooftop terrace. Convenient location, close to beach and shops. Small lift in building for 4 floors then two sets of stairs to the apartment. The last staircase is a bit steep and narrow. Bathroom is a tight fit, but has a full shower and nice hot water. Alberto and Nicoletta were very nice hosts with good response to communications and questions!”

“Great location, close to train station and main part of town. Convenient for coffee shop, groceries, restaurants and also ferry service. Unit is very well kept, clean with an amazing upper floor deck.”

“It is situated in a historical building however very nicely decorated. The area has many many options. We came to Genoa by train and the location is 11-15 minutes walking distance. If you take the taxi it will leave you bottom of these steps and you need to carry your luggages Apartment’s elevator is on 1st floor so you also need to take go up 10-15 stairs to get to the elevator. The only thing negative about this apartment was the steps inside the unit which you need to take to go up to……

“We were traveling as a family with three young adults and two grandparents - and this was a fantastic find! The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. The house is gorgeous and totally unique and we had everything we needed. Lots of hikers to Portofino (and it was the off season!) passing by, but I would take the trails instead of the road if……

“Très bonne communication avec l’hôte qui est très réactive ! Je n’avais pas compris que la maison était en fait divisée en 2 et que la casa di mar était le sous sol de la maison, il y a donc des voisins de proximité. Le lieu est cependant très calme et agréable.”

“Huset var mycket vackert beläget men inte helt lätt att ta sig till. Mycket brant backe och kan bli svårt med en stor bil. Bra parkering vid huset. Städning mycket bra och fräscht hus. Vi har tidigare hyrt hus i Italien vid några tillfällen, men aldrig tidigare så bra utrustning i köket och välfungerande duschar med varmvatten. trevliga värdar. Det som drar ner betyget är att man vid bokning efterfrågade om vi önskade "Additional sheets and towels". Jag förutsatte att det ingick ett set/ person……

“Huge property with historical details. Beautiful pool with scenic views that can’t be beat. Hosts were very accommodating. The inside air was stale from not being aired out. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.”

A 15 minute walk in either direction will find you in Santa Margarita, or Rapallo, both are charming cities with lots of great food options, and beautiful Italian streets to explore. It was a great home base to visit Portofino, Camogli and Cinque Terre. Our hosts were as kind as can be And even provided us with wine and fresh fruit from their trees that were delicious. “Nous avons passé un super séjour à Gênes. Alessandra a été très arrangeante, notamment avec notre retard dû aux embouteillages.. L’appartement est très bien placé au cœur du centre historique à proximité de tous les sites touristiques. Il ne faut pas oublier ses boules quies, la place est très vivante et donc bruyante jusqu’à tard dans la nuit. Pour 3 jours, nous l’avons supporté et étions très heureux d’être au cœur de la vie génoise.”
