"Excellent location! Beautiful ocean views. Located on a busy main road so traffic noise is constant but we live in the country so we are not used to it. Small garbage cans in the bathroom would be useful. Lots of kitchen equipment which was helpful as we like to cook meals. If you have a gluten allergy there is a gluten free bakery right next door, you can smell it from the balcony! This was a bonus for this Celiac traveller! "

"Our stay at Grandfather's house was wounderful. House is so charming with an incredible view both on the Sea and the Vezuvio for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sunsets on the Vezuvio are just hamazing. House is very comfortable and adapted for a group of 10 /12 people. The pool area is lovely. The house's location was perfect for us : close to Salerno (15 min), Vietri di Mare (12min) and not far from Napoli (45 min) or Pompei (35 min). Finally, Claudio is a very pleasant host. "We arrived by ferry and ate dinner in town before trying to make our way to the bed and breakfast at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. We could not get an uber or taxi, so took the last packed bus of the night. With 4 adults and luggage, kind locals held suitcases on their laps.
