「Our stay at The Ridge by Tiny Away in Daylesford was frustrating from start to finish. Communication was poor throughout - we received no booking confirmation until I chased it up, and only found out one hour before check-in that the heater was broken, during a freezing weekend. We were offered no suitable alternative or support.To make matters worse, we paid 300 for one night, only to see the same night listed online for 100 (so they hadn;t even blocked out our stay, causing stress we weren't...

「I didn't realise we were staying in a brand new little townhouse! It was great. Only negatives: 1. Wifi was really weak. 2. The dishwasher didn't work. We called the 24hr hotline (there'sno receptio), a bit after lunch on a Monday, they couldn't send someone to inspect until the next day. So, the 24hr service is for taking messages, not for repairing faults.」

「Very picturesque. The room was large with a comfortable bed and two comfortable armchairs. The bathroom was adequate but the mirror placement is a bit awkward for ladies though there is a larger mirror within the closet door. Quite clean with coffee and tea available and a generous fruit bowl. The split system was great and it is very quiet spot. The owner was very warm and welcoming as well as helpful with directions. 」
