"Good location. Every thing is good except the conditioner was too loud to sleep."

"Located nicely downtown. Hotel itself was clean and well taken care of. AC unit in the room was noisy and needed maintenance. There was valet parking on and offsite. Breakfast was also good compared to most."

"I booked this hotel through the Expedia app, and upon arrival, I was told that they had not received the payment from the platform. Despite already having paid for my reservation, the hotel required me to pay again directly, assuring me that the duplicate charge would be refunded within a couple of days. I agreed under those conditions in order to check in, but it has now been over a week and I have not received any refund or clear resolution. This situation is very concerning and creates a lack of trust. As a customer, you expect proper coordination between the hotel and the booking platform. It is not acceptable for the customer to bear the burden of such issues, especially without any follow-up or accountability. I would recommend being very cautious when booking here and confirming directly with the hotel in advance to avoid similar problems."

"Room was clean and bed was made every day as well as towels being changed. Breakfast was better than expected. The only negative I have to say is that check in was stated to be at 4pm and the room was still not ready by that time which left us uncomfortable after a long day of travel."

"Hotel central AC was turned off, we were sweating the room. I was offered a different room on the assumption that the air would work there, just to find out from the maintenance guy that the whole thing was turned off and they were not allowed by management or owner to turn it on. Front desk offered a fan and said that if I opened the window it should be OK. Hotel is advertised with AC in the rooms, if they are not going to turn it on you should be adviced before making a reservation. Just like when a pool is closed for renovations for example. "

"We had an AMAZING stay at Hotel Arts. For the price, the amenities were excellent, with 2 restaurant/bars, a plush pool area, and small gym conveniently located on site. This may be kind of nerdy, but the fact that the TV was Chromecast enabled was also a plus, allowing no shortage of in-room entertainment. Also, TONS of great places to eat and drink just across the street. We were in town for a convention and the Calgary Expo is about a 10 minute walk that is enjoyable with your morning coffee and opens up access to more great spots including the casino. ;)"
