Great Stay

This house is amazing! Have been here back to back years and it has not let us down. Everything is very clean and the land/house is huge. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Canandaigua area.

Amazing

Beautiful, well kept, and clean home. Close to lake, we even saw deer. Communication was amazing. House was well stocked. Anybody looking to get away to upstate NY.

Country charm

Delightedly peaceful and clean country home that was perfect for our family of 5 and our energetic Springer Spaniel. Setup worked for group meals and entertainment. Close access to Canandaigua restaurants and shopping, lake tours, while enjoying the upland pastures and farmlands. Communication was excellent and responsive to any requests. A great stay for winery tours, summer hikes, or winter skiing.

Great property, disappointing communication

This Vrbo home more than lived up to our expectations: it was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-arranged. The hot tub was not the best hot tub I've ever used, but it was clean and worked well, and we frankly spent a whole lot of time in it, so thumbs up on that. The only issue we ran into was communication from the host. Before we left, we weirdly enough received an e-mail telling us we'd already been sent the check-in information (including the all-important door code) when we had never received that. This was communication through Vrbo, so there's no chance it was an e-mail that went astray or to junk. They did finally send it when I sent them a note pointing out the problem. We also contacted them two or three times asking if we could have a noon checkout instead of the 10am checkout they set. If they had gotten back and said "Sorry, no", that would have been fine--but they never responded. They sent several automated messages saying they hoped we were having a great stay and asking if we needed anything, but then they ignored our replies to those. This is an organization, not an individual, so it probably wasn't just that somebody was having a rough week. So to sum up: you'll probably really enjoy this place, as long as you watch out for communication glitches and don't need anything special.
