A Gem!

Great little cabin on the lake. My children fished all day off the pier. Plenty of water activity items provided, clean, great communication; 5 stars every day of the week!

Springtime lakeside visit

The home was really nicely presented. The windows provide the most wonderful view of the lake. The indoor fireplace was most welcome and the hot tub by the lake edge a real treat.

Beautiful lake location!

The cottage was so peaceful & comfortable that we never even ate out at night. Enjoyed grilling & relaxing time. Would definitely recommend Sunset Sanctuary!

Great stay

Cottage is located perfectly for trips into Canandaigua and winery touring. Deck and dock were perfect for coffee on the cool mornings. Clean well appointed and comfortable. Check in and check out was a breeze.

Relaxing weekend

This house is the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend. The inside was very cozy and the yard was the best part. It had a nice hot tub over looking the water. Nice area to eat breakfast outdoors and take in the views. House was also close to town. I would definitely rent again if in the area.

Relaxing!

We had an amazing week here. The house, property and sunsets were perfect. The house is a great size for 4-6 people, easy to keep organized and clean and steps away from the water. The area was quiet. We will rent next year!

We enjoyed staying lakeside and appreciated the hot tub and kayaks. We were a little disappointed in finding the property to not be the cleanest and actually had to vacuum upon arrival. The air conditioners actually DO NOT work. This was not a big issue for us as the weather was cooler, but would have been disappointing if the temps were above 80. The screen door going into the house had a broken closer, which we simply removed. The back screen is also not working correctly and was difficult to open/close. All in all we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful lakefront stay

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is spectacular and worth every penny. We slept 4 adults and it was very comfortable. There is a pullout couch and futon for additional sleeping but can’t speak to how comfortable they are. The kitchen had most anything we needed as far as utensils and cookware went. We had a 3 year old child who visited for the day and I could say the location would not be great for a child any younger. There was a drop off, stairs down to the lake, and not a large area to walk into the water. The lake is very rocky so highly recommend water shoes. Hopefully these are helpful notes - we loved our time here and would stay again.

Comfortable Place; Some Suggestions

Very pleasant stay, nice accomodations. Kitchen, living space very comfortable. Some suggestions: 1) 2nd bedroom/bath needs more attention. BR needs hooks, very little counterspace for toiletries. Night light needed. 2) Bedroom: no counter space, some in closet but held a lot of board games 2) double outlet installed above heater, lamp cord was touching baseboard heater, cord was hot. This is a fire hazard. I draped the cord over a nearby trash can to avoid contact. In sum, the second bedroom/bath was a bit of an afterthought. Thank you.

Perfect Place For a Weekend

This small cottage overlooks the water from the living room and the dining room. The views of the lake are beautiful. The furniture and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. It was the perfect place for a long weekend. Our only issue with the house was the internet and TV. Neither were working when we arrived. It took several phone calls to the management company to get the situation resolved and that is the reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. That said, we would rent this listing again. The location was perfect.
