「Hotel Don Alfonso is historic and beautiful! We enjoyed exploring every charming area! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and Louis was exceptional—greeting us right away at check-in, sharing helpful information about the area, and even offering to help us improve our Spanish, which we really appreciated. 「I had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference, and the atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. It’s also in a great location, which made getting around very convenient. There are just a couple of areas that could be improved. The breakfast, while good, was exactly the same every day, so adding some variety would make it much better for longer stays. Also, some of the rooms feel a bit outdated...

「Our hotel stay and the attendance of the staff was excellent. Rooms are clean and updated. Breakfast, which is sub-catered to another restaurant on the top floor, needs much improvement (staff, food), taking into consideration, that the hotel is advertised as "Luxury". 「From the beginning at the front desk we were charged for taxes even though we are American citizens and Colombians as well. But because we said we entry the country by biometric standards ( which does not require the stamp at the passport ) we were charged illegally. We are going to petition de return of our tax money. We we are in Bogotá and we were exempted from taxes. Officers in immigration told us that is illegal . We are never going back to that hotel.」

「Inicialmente nos asignaron unas habitaciones horribles, olían a feo, pero hablamos con la administración y nos ubicaron en otras habitaciones, mejor aseadas y con aire acondicionado, al salir nos comunicaron que debíamos cancelar por cada habitación 4 el valor del aire acondicionado」
