Great experience for our first VRBO!
To start off, my family would like to thank the staff, very helpful in ideas and recommendations. David (host) and Valeria (property manager) responded promptly and group text very helpful that David sets up.
The house itself is very open from dining to family room to outdoors with large sliding door for indoor/outdoor feel. Main floor powder room very handy for washing up as all rooms on next 2 levels. Kitchen is very spacious with large fridge/freezer and extra smaller one if need. No coffee pot, which would recommend if used to that, but boiling water and instant coffee worked, there is a Starbucks walking distance. No TV on main floor but upper living room has one for Netflix which we found cozy. All rooms have individual A/C units, easy to cool off. Bedrooms are very spacious and suited our family of 9, 4 adults, 5 kids 11-17. Slight issue with toilet, but handyman sent right over. House kept very clean by Reyna, hard worker, just like resort-daily. Need to open door for them in am.
We hired a chef 4/7 days, WOW can Chef Carlos cook! Picture worthy fruit platters, 3 course meals if not more, not much desert but I’m sure would if requested(my kids had ice cream etc that we purchased at market).
Evenings we would do some personal laundry and pizza/snacks.
Outdoor patio table/area spacious but shared, encircled by other homes, private with nice landscaping, very quiet even so. Pool is short walk through other nice walkways between homes, shared pool which we usually found to ourselves, maybe one other family at times. Pool is slightly chilly and no hot tub, but kids enjoyed. Ask for waterfalls to be turned on. The docks are very nice atmosphere. We hired a yacht that David helped line up and they picked us up from backyard, very convenient!
We felt neighborhood was safe, walked a lot, crossing streets may be iffy with smaller children but we managed. We ended up using taxi for the beach, bus seemed packed, and walking is challenging with bags/towels etc.
After set up ride from David airport to house, our family found that the taxi service right by house was very affordable and easy to use, they circle around house and you can stop any of them or call, walk to. We used the corner little store, more like gas station, for ice, drinks, candy/snacks, but also a small market close by. Enjoyed the restaurant food and margaritas around the corner, walking distance!
