Instalaciones excelentes, servicio inmejorable, siempre atentos, comida variada y de gran calidad, bien gestionado, sin aglomeraciones, y tranquilo. El único punto negativo es que la playa es pequeña, y estaba prácticamente inutilizada por el sargazo.

The bed was so so - the quality of bedding was not good. It was hard to get dinner reservations even though most restaurants had empty tables. We had to do buffet food several nights. On a positive note, there was a lot to do & we loved all the various pool options. The ocean was not in great shape so swimming was not an option & it smelled bad from all the seaweed.

We stayed at Ha and it was much more chill and relaxing. Wasn’t an inconvenience at all to get to other properties. Room had a funny musty/moldy smell Food was excellent. Beach none existent, we went to a beach club 8 mins away.

The manager at the Ventus front desk was rude and indifferent to our questions and concerns. She literally was laughing at us when I asked to have my daughter, whom was staying in a room by herself and had paid over 4 thousand dollars for that room, stay at least in the same building as me. They put her in a completely different building. Neither would honor our request for 2 double beds. She was rude and obnoxious. On top of that, we could not get a dinner reservation at any of the Restaraunts for the first 4 days that we were there. We had no choice but to eat at the buffet. We paid for an all inclusive stay, not to have to stand in line for an hour to eat in the buffet. On top of it all, our phones in our rooms did not work. I requested for someone to come fix it 8 times. Someone came once and said it was fixed, but it was not. I couldn’t call room to room. After requesting several more times and no one coming to try and fix it, I gave up. So we were without a phone the entire week. Horrible customer service. Very frustrating.

Staff is amazing, the nicest and most accommodating people. Place is nice, beach was not. Also paid for a better room, got a lesser one. Food is mid bit a TON of it everywhere. Its basically an oasis in the middle of a mangrove swamp. Town is close, water was better there. The reef is worth the swim.

In general, this resort was clean and staff are friendly. My family stayed in Ventus Ha and the facilities are newer and a lot calmer than the main resort. The only thing that I can suggest would be to have faster guest services. I was in line on the front desk to have my key card changed because it deactivated somehow and I waited for 30 minutes because there was only 1 person in the front desk around 6pm. Also, it took more that an hour for room service in the late afternoon.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We wanted a resort on the ocean but you had to make an effort to spend time at the parts of the resort where the ocean was visible. The beach in front of the resort was not great, and this general Puerto Morelos area is not great for folks who love spending time at the beach. It was nice being able to go between the 3 resorts, all with their own theme and restaurants. If we went back to this same resort in the future, we’d probably stay at Ventus Ha instead since being nearer the ocean wasn’t an actual plus. We also liked 2 restaurants at Ha best out of the entire group of resorts. They were accommodating to food allergies. Buffets were not the greatest but we found the items we liked best. Be sure to make dinner reservations asap. The pools were very clean and waiters consistently walked around taking drink orders. Staff stopped by the room daily to drop off bottled water, soda, beer, wine, and champs. The adults never ordered room service but it was available 24:7. Souvenir stores on the resort were reasonably priced. This was our first time to Mexico, and wish we would have known about the tip culture. It is extremely customary to tip during most interactions with staff, so next time we’ll plan on having a lot more smaller bills with us. It was a nice trip and service and accommodations were reasonable considering the reservation price point. We wish there was more entertainment into the late night that didn’t conflict with late dinners.

There was not enough staff. Wait lines to be seated for buffets took forever. They ran out of food a few times, likely because there wasn’t enough staff to bring out food. The food itself was mediocre. I wouldn’t suggest the Mexican restaurant, it was anything but that. The property was clean and well-kept.

Some things need improving here. It was impossible to get a restaurant dinner reservation and the buffets were jammed. The pools were cold and the hot tubs were dirty. Towel availability was not consistent. Room service was very slow (over an hour at times, never at others). The beach was unusable.

We stayed for a week if my family and it was pretty decent. The food was good, staff is nice, and the resort is well kept. The only downside is this resort does not have a beach that you would want to spend any time on, the water is kinda gross looking too, so that was a bit of a disappointment. However, there are a lot of pools, and they are well kept. All in all this is a family friendly resort for people who want to just sit by the pool and tan, have a drink, and get up periodically to get something to eat.

Overall, we had a great experience at Venus El Cid Resort & Spa! The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and there’s a lot to enjoy once you settle in. That said, our arrival wasn’t as welcoming as we expected. We arrived late, and unfortunately, there was no proper greeting or guidance when we got to the hotel. The staff member who handed us the keys did say “welcome,” but it didn’t feel like the warm, hospitable arrival you usually look forward to at a resort. Another thing to note is that the resort is quite large, which is great but it can also be confusing at first. Even with the map, it was a bit overwhelming and not very easy to follow. Thankfully, by around the fourth day, we finally got the hang of where everything was. Overall, still a very enjoyable stay, just a few areas that could improve the first impression and navigation experience.!
