“So sound proof!! Excellent service. Thank you so much!”

“very nice property”

“It was a nice experience overall living in Taj for two days. One of the best things is the staff was very helpful in arranging tours and booking taxis. But one point Taj might improve is, though we have paid online for such a room for three people, we were told still that we have to be charged for an extra bed, which is not expected when we placed the order. ”

“I cannot rate The Astor in Goa high enough. We used Goa as a stop gap for our India holiday and it was amazing. I had an upgrade and used the Spa and Gym as well as the pool which was welcoming after being in the sun. The staff were fab, very friendly and considerate, couldn't do enough, always helpful. Food was also delicious, Ishani looked after us throughout, always with a smile on her face. Thank you to everyone at The Astor, hopefully return soon.”

“The hotel was an excellent experience for me and my children, They loved the rooms , pool and the various meal options were great !!! . Thank you Shravan Kumar for your excellent service”

“The staff and the general facilities and the room were great. Just two downsides. 1. During my stay they decided to drain the swimming pool and regrout and refill. We were told that this would take two days. My time at the hotel finished after 4 days and the pool was still not open. It would have been a good idea to do this maintenance work during the low season rather than with a hotel full of holidaymakers. 2. Strangely you were only allowed to use one device on the Wi-Fi. If you tried to……

“Had a good stay”

“Extremely disappointed. The key card never worked so I had to go the reception every single time and ask them to send someone with a master key card. They replaced my key card 3 times but that didnt help. Meanwhile it was raining and the corridor ceilings were leaking. I found a dead cockroach in my bathroom. So overall...horrible.”

“Clean and neat place in north Goa. Perfect for families with kids”

“Nice comfy stay near candolim”

“We stayed here for 1 night before travelling back to Mumbai, me and my 11 yo son. The hotel is on beautiful grounds and spread out with lots of low rise bungalows. We were given a 1st floor room with a beautiful view of the sea. If you want a week beach holiday, this would be a lovely place, you could stay here happily. The room was lovely and clean. There were a few bungalows being renovated so it would have been upsetting to be in one of the bungalows nearby with drilling and building……

“All good”

“Overall a decent property, but the actual property is bit different than its shown in the images, It seems very old and the price of the property is bit higher than it should be. You can get better options in the same price. ”

“There was no hospitality and effective concierge service. The kettle was in a rusted condition. The hotel had to benchmark other Fortune hotels in India to qualify their 4 star requirements and should match the service. Otherwise Overall I can suggest 2.5 star only.”

“Ta boende men ingen vidare frukost.”

“The location is good, can be noisy all night if your room is at the front of the hotel. Rooms are not soundproof so if you plan a lie in you may get the noise from the pool area. Cleanliness can Definetly be improved, property also needs maintenance rather than excuses for issues. Some of the front office staff were really good but otherwise the the staff and Restaraunt’s staff were quite poor.”

“Only downside was the guests queuing up to use the rooftop pool , leaving towels on beds and not returning for ages , sad people ”
