What a hidden gem on Tortola! This is a small (7-room) hotel located on a bluff overlooking the ocean. While it is not a 5-star resort, the accommodations were clean, somewhat updated and comfortable.
We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that I affectionately have named "The Penthouse," as it sits at the top of the property. The expansive balcony overlooks the ocean, and numerous other islands in the British Virgin Islands as well as the US Virgin Islands. The view is simply breathtaking!
There is a small pool, and a freshly cooked breakfast (ordered the night before) is delivered to the room at our requested time. It's a major plus that one of the island's top-rated restaurants, Bananakeet, is on property. Cane Garden Bay is a short 5-7 minute cab ride away, as are a number of great restaurants below the resort.
The staff were so kind and welcoming and a pleasure to speak with.
We will definitely be visiting The Heritage Inn again!

Apartment for 5 people was clean but dated and only had 2 or 3 cups glasses plates and bowls etc
Management very miserable and didn't seem at all friendly. I had been talking with Tia prior to our arrival who was helpful and delightful but on her holidays when we arrived. .
One of our party had an accident in the restaurant with a chair that broke and the staff did not help us at all or log it in the accident book .
Beautiful views from the hotel but you will need a car and the roads are extremely difficult and the walk to the beach is long...

Room was clean. Great views from the patio. We wished we could have the door open for the breeze and view but there are no screens. Walls were super thin and could hear everything our neighbors were saying. Restaurant had great food. Good location close to Can Garden Bay and Apple Bay.

The room was clean. The office should’ve been opened until the last guest arrives rather than having to go to the restaurant on property to let the staff know you have arrived. I was looking forward for a guest reception check-in.

From the moment we arrived Tia made us very welcome. Property is clean, amazing views with a nice pool and the restaurant on property; Bananakeet has amazing food and staff. Tanisha, Amoy, Kay, Shannek and Ninja we courteous, professional and always went out of their way to offer great service.

Wonderful stay at Heritage Inn. Clean and comfortable rooms, very soft towels. Fun happy hour and really great food. Staff was wonderful, helped me get cabs and information on what was around. Incredible views of ocean with beautiful sunsets. Great location

The Heritage Inn is a wonderful place to stay! My husband and I took a mini honeymoon and the room was all we needed. The kitchen was an added plus! This place has spectacular views, maybe the best of the entire island and the location is just a short drive to Cane Garden Bay, Smugglers Cove, the ferry, and other great restaurants! Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower (it was very soft). The staff and atmosphere were amazing! We hope to return in the future!

Expedia should not have had this hotel on their website as it was technically closed. They had not opened for the season so when we got there the sign said "closed". However, they honored our reservation but there was no dining and the bar was not open. And there was work being done all over the property. With drilling above our rooms at 8 am. The views are great and the staff was very kind but this should not have even been an option on Expedia.

Super nice and friendly staff, breathtaking views - I was in the room #9. Having a car is highly recommended. 5 min drive to a shop and to Cane Garden beach / restaurants. 15 min drive to Road Town & harbour.

This property has an excellent view and is located in between two popular beaches! The AC was cold. The kitchen was ready for meal preparation. The beds were comfortable. Plenty linens. amiable staff. I will stay there again.
