“This hotel is a fantastic option for families who want more convenient accommodation than 1 standard hotel room. It has apartments with various numbers of bedrooms and full kitchen. The heated pool is very nice addition. Everything is very clean. The stuff is very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this place. ”

“Excellent place to stay overnight before we headed over to La Fortuna next morning. Edward picked us up from the airport, we used his rental car service and dropped us off to the airport. Breakfast was yummy and we can't thank Edward and Familia enough for their hospitality.”

“We were greeted my the smiling faces of Luci and Luis. They showed us around and told us how to contact them for any questions. Luis brought us fresh coconut water! Luci was a gem. She showed us how to prepare our fresh fish, make pantacones, and other helpful hints. We enjoyed the pool and hammocks by the beach. The info regarding thebdistance to the nearest store is very accurate so beingbwhat you meed! Hope to stay h We here again.”

“For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The late afternoons did get warm, but we just cooled off in the pool. We did not see any rain while we were there. The nights do cool down, but was still a little……

“For our second week in Costa Rica, we chose this home in Atenas. The photos do not do it justice- it is such a wonderful and relaxing retreat. The private pool and outdoor shower allowed a connection no nature. Hammock and hanging chairs, lush landscaping, toucans…. Just too much to mention. We will return to this special place. Lizz did massages on the breezeway our last day to the sound of rain and the birds. Communication was excellent.”

“This hotel seemed to be mostly well kept. They did not have AC which was a bit of a downside. The staff at the desk does not often speak English, although the manager/owner does, so be prepared to use your Spanish! Getting Uber is convenient and easy to do from the hotel. I had a shuttle that left to my next destination at 2:00pm on check out day, but the hotel did not allow for late checkouts. They were willing to keep my luggage though while I waited. They allowed me to wait at the property.……

“We enjoyed Paul's Tarzan house a lot, The kids loved the pool and zip-line! Paul and his assistant were very attentive and helpful leading up to our stay and during. The house was clean and had everything we needed for three nights. There are two neighbor property pretty close that share the outside attractions, but they were both empty during our stay so we had no issue with that. “This was a perfect escape from the city. Felt like a mini oasis. We ubered it to shops and restaurants and enjoyed the pool in between. Good communication with property manager. Would rent again.”
