Summary:
Incredible views and luxurious finishes invite guests to take a deep breath of mountain air, and relax. King size bed with 5* hotel linens, gorgeous stone fireplace, books, games, air conditioning and complimentary Eclipse, Public Goods & Rocky Mountain Soap Co products set this top floor condo apart. Year round outdoor pool and hot tubs, walking distance to beautiful downtown Canmore, and only 15 minutes to all that Banff National Park has to offer!
The Space:
Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this recently renovated home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely patio with seating for four to enjoy the mountain air. Complimentary parking in our secure, heated underground parkade (clearance height 6'5") means you can lock up your vehicle no matter what the weather.
We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee. Our apartment is stocked with locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!).
Best suited for couples, there is extra accommodation for 1-2 on the sofa bed in the living room if you need it. The heated outdoor pool and two hot tubs are a welcome place to revive sore muscles after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a small but functional gym in the building.
Canmore offers loads of opportunities for the adventurous and serene alike. Hike, bike, climb, ski, white water raft or canoe, and when you need a little downtime, settle with a picnic blanket and a book in a park besides the river in summer, or cosy up in front of the fire in winter.
Guest Access:
You can use everything in the condo itself, and all amenities (pool, hot tubs, BBQ area, fitness room and games room)in the hotel complex. The only resource off limits is the front desk and the hotel staff.
The Neighborhood:
Blackstone Mountain Lodge is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, and there's a bus to Banff and Calgary close by. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away.
Getting Around:
Canmore is small and easy to get around on foot, by car or by public transit. There is public transportation within Canmore, and to/from Banff. Information about Canmore Roam Transit timetables are provided in the condo. Public transport within Canmore is free.
Other Things to Note:
Annual pool closure May 28th - June 6 2025. Pool and hot tubs will be unavailable during this time.
Interaction with Guests:
We are professional vacation managers who live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay. Talk to us for advice on hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants etc. If you need specific equipment for your stay that you don't want to buy, get in touch and we'll see if we can help.
