“This was a delightful one night stay for us in a pretty chalet style apartment at the foot of the Assisi hills. We had a fabulous view up to the town from our outdoor terrace seating area. The hostess Elizabetta welcomed us warmly and we had everything we needed. Top tip: the breakfast offering was limited to packets of biscuits and pastries, plus yoghurt, but because there is a kitchen area and small fridge we were able to use and store food we had bought at a supermarket on our way there. “We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel……
