Nice house, but it needs an upgrade

The first impression of the house was in line with our expectations. But after a nice incheck process of Margot, we realized there was only an airco in the main sleeping room and the beds in the three sleeping rooms were very old and used for a too long time. Large swimming pool but not cleaning during the week. A simple upgrade of the bedrooms would be welcomed by us to come back. Nice area, close to Calian and hiking possiblities.

Great location for a small family

We really loved our stay at this house. Especially the privacy with the big outdoor space, the big pool with perfect temperature and the small village. If you want a quiet family vacation this is in my opinion the perfect spot. 35 min from the beach, and 10 min from an amazing lake with lots of fun activities. We started every day with freshly baked goods from a local bakery in town. I recommend to check out the neighbor town Cailler too. I would come back, the kids didn’t want to leave. That being said I think the communication can improve for the next guests here. There was a very short time window for checking in, only 2 hours in the early evening, which was flat out impossible for us with 2 small kids arriving from another country. This was not stated clear beforehand. When on our way we were told we had to pay 25 euros if the caretaker was going to show up after the arrival time. I have never heard of this before. It was also difficult to find the key box to the house, because the instructions were vague. I don’t know if anyone stayed in the house the week before us, but it did not look that it had been cleaned before arrival. We had to vacuum a lot of spider webs all over the house, it seemed like no one had gone over and checked that it was ready for a new family. No soap or anything except a dirty sponge in the kitchen. I think improving these little details will have a very positive impact on future stays. But we over all in all a very good time.

Fabulous holiday

We had a great holiday at Les Jasmines. Would definitely recommend! The large, deep pool was a highlight and our children, 12 and 14 loved it. The pool temperature didn’t fall below 29 degrees and during the day was up to 31. We visited in hot weather - high 30’s and the pool was wonderful. The master bedroom upstairs was large with a bathroom and a balcony and had very welcome air conditioning. The layout with the other 2 bedrooms downstairs meant that there was space for everyone to have their own privacy. The downstairs bedrooms had fans but would have benefited from air con too. The house was homely and well stocked with kitchenware, games and washing machine etc. everything worked well. The garden was very large and the area around the pool was immaculate. There was a good selection of pool toys and a badminton set although we had travelled with our own. A boules set would be brilliant as there wasn’t one. If you were travelling with toddlers the multiple doors out to the garden and pool could be easily locked and there was a pool alarm and and plenty of child friendly tableware. The owners and caretaker, Julie were very friendly. We visited all the local hill top villages which were beautiful and drove to the Gorge du Verdon for a lake trip. We didn’t book ahead but got there early and didn’t need to queue or wait to hire a boat. Brilliant destination and location!

La maison a un beau jardin et une belle piscine, mais notre séjour a été marqué par de nombreux soucis. Les joints du carrelage de la piscine se décollent et c’est dangereux. Nous avons subi plusieurs coupures d’électricité qui entraînaient aussi des coupures d’eau. Le wifi sécurisé a cessé de fonctionner au bout de 2 jours, remplacé par un wifi non sécurisé, sans couverture dans les chambres. La 4G/5G est très faible. Nous avons eu la présence de rats jusque sur la terrasse (un mort devant la terrasse l’avant-veille du départ, un autre devant la porte la veille). Beaucoup de passages imprévus : techniciens pour l’électricité et le wifi, jardiniers entrant sans prévenir et tondant devant nous pendant le petit-déjeuner. Pour le linge, l’étendoir principal est placé près des poubelles, l’autre n’a pas de pieds (installé entre deux chaises). Clim uniquement dans la chambre du haut. Cuisine fonctionnelle mais peu de rangements et produits périmés (épices de 2012). Dans la salle de bain, un vieux savon oublié. Literie inconfortable. Malgré tout, les propriétaires ont été réactifs et ont fait de leur mieux pour trouver des solutions, avec de petites attentions via leur voisine. La maison a du potentiel mais nécessite plus de soins et d’organisation.

Die Unterkunft war traumhaft, super ausgestattet und sauber. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig, was uns besonders gefallen hat war der wirklich grosse Pool, den wir täglich genutzt haben! Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Belle maison agréable et grande piscine très appréciée de tous. La propreté était satisfaisante. Les équipements et linges fournis sont satisfaisants. Le calme est très appréciable. Schön gelegenes Haus mit sensationellem Pool!

Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen in dem Haus in Montauroux. Das Haus liegt schön ruhig etwas außerhalb des Dorfkerns. Der riesige Garten ist von außen nicht einsehbar. Das Haus entspricht absolut den Bildern, Zimmer sind geräumig und solide ausgestattet. Der große Pool mit 14m ist überragend und der absolute USP! Einziger Malus aus unserer Sicht ist die fehlende Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern im EG in Verbindung mit fehlendem Insektenschutz vor den Fenstern. Somit haben wir einen "Schlafsaal" im einzigen klimatisierten Zimmer im OG eingerichtet. Hier müsste nachgerüstet werden. Ansonsten wären es 5 Sterne geworden. Kommunikation war okay, Check-in ging etwas holprig auf französisch und mit Deepl. Restaurants und Supermärkte erreicht man in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, tolle Ausflugsziele liegen in Fahrweite. Wir hatten ein gute Zeit und können das Haus absolut empfehlen!

Sehr schönes Haus mit sehr schönen und großen Pool

Wir waren zwei Wochen in dem Haus. Sehr abgelegenen und ruhig mit sehr großem Pool. Klimaanlage ist nur im Schlafzimmer oben, geht aber wenn man morgens gut lüftet und die Klappläden tagsüber schließt. Einkauf mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten im Tal. Wir überlegen nochmal zu kommen!

Herrliches Urlaubsdomizil

Wir haben einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub auf diesem Anwesen verbracht. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Es hat eine ideale Größe für 6 Personen. Das Grundstück ist riesig, schön bepflanzt und besitzt einen tollen großen Salzwasserpool. Die Vermieterin und auch Corinne, die Ansprechperson vor Ort, sind sehr freundlich & bemüht & jederzeit erreichbar!

Lovely Villa in great location

We had a lovely holiday and all aspects went well. Renee was great to deal with, efficient, helpful and always quick to respond. Corinne was lovely too going out of her way to help us settle with our infant grandson. All on all a great trip - we enjoyed the bar in the village square and Le Marina restaurant is a must! Thanks

Fantastisches Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Es ist gut ausgestattet und hat einen großen Pool, in dem man auch richtig schwimmen kann. Es gab einen kleinen Defekt im Haus, der wurde von der Vermieterin umgehend beseitigt. Wir würden das Haus sofort wieder buchen. In der Umgebung gibt es einige gute Restaurants, man braucht aber zwingend für alles ein Auto.

Wir haben im Juli 2019 zwei wunderbar erholsame Urlaubswochen in der Villa verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und Anfragen wurden prompt beantwortet (auch während des Aufenthaltes). Besonders erwähnenswert sind die absolut ruhige Lage, der große Pool und die Gartenanlage.
