I had a great experience the first time I stayed at this place. And this would've been too if it hadn't been for a really unhelpful & rude member of staff who lacked any customer service skills. He was a young guy so I gave him another chance and he dealt with that just as poorly as the first time I tried to resolve my issue. I found the management uncooperative with my complaint and reluctant to even acknowledge the incident never mind help with a resolution.

Outside of the main area but still within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the high street. Not super accessible by public transport it seemed and was on the opposite side of the train station.

Un bell'hotel ricavato in quella che era sicuramente una dimora di pregio. Bellissimo giardino. Buona colazione (inclusa) in una bellissima sala. Una bella passeggiata per arrivare in centro a Canterbury. Consiglierei di aggiungere una SPA. Purtroppo per me una sola notte.

Perfect night in Canterbury

We absolutely loved our stay. Breakfast was delicious in a beautiful room, fans in the room kept it cool, outside garden was lovely. Easy walk to town and restaurants.

Family trip

This is a lovely hotel to stay in, my room had a canopy bed and fireplace, huge with high ceilings. Nice and walkable to the Cathedral. Breakfast offered lotsof choice and good food.

Ein Hotel mit Charme, aber in die Jahre gekommen.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas veraltet, selbst am Waschbecken gibt es getrennte Warm- und Kaltwasserhähne. Positiv hervorzuheben sind jedoch die ausgezeichnete Lage, der freundliche Service, der gepflegte Garten und das gute Frühstück.

Superb value for money.

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough! Just wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were kind & helpful, my room was spotless, warm & comfortable, the public areas were tastefully decorated, the grounds were beautiful & the buffet breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. An excellent stay, right in the heart of Canterbury. Thank you!
