“Pros: The owner and staff on site were so sweet and so helpful. Monkeys were all over the property which was so cool. The complementary breakfast was simple but very good. The location was very central, so getting to most places in quepos/manuel antonio was a 15 minute drive at maximum. They also offer a free tour guide for manuel antonio park, and a 50% discount at a local indian restaurant (i forgot the name, sorry) Cons: The rooms were a little more run down than the photos advertised, but……

“Very bare bones accommodations, right on the busy main road. Don’t expect a feeling of tranquility. For the price, it’s a place to get some AC for one night.”

“In a nutshell It is a dump Be ready to walk up and down very steep steps with your luggage No hot water hope you like cold showers if you stay there Can’t keep your ac on if you step out. So if you step out and it’s 90 F it will be 90 F in the room when you return There is no staff to help with tours or basic needs, dining area is filthy. The big fountain at the bottom of the stairs has brown water and bugs inside. I found a hole 3cm wide on my front door. For insects to come visit me. The……

“Room and bathroom were clean. We had a late flight in the San Jose, so checked in at the hotel after midnight, when nobody was there at the front desk, but we received clear instructions for checkin by messages and also from the taxi driver who picked us up. So, it went smoothly.”

“1.Rooms were not well maintained. Wall had broken paint, looked dirty and smelly. 2. It doesn’t have Air conditioning, so it’s was very difficult to sleep. Fan provided wasn’t good enough as it was very warm inside. 3. Breakfast is terrible. In fact I wouldn’t call it a Breakfast (2 breads and a coffee) 4.Limited/No parking, you will have to park on road. Felt a bit unsafe as it’s adjacent to downtown San Jose I wouldn’t recommend as you can get better hotel Options at the same price. ”
