“Magical. It takes some time to get to the Villa and be aware the roads are not paved or flat. All wheel drive helped a lot. the trips is worth it though. If you are looking for nightlife and action. this is not the best choice. If you are looking for tranquility and a truly immersive Costa Rica experience this place is perfect. The people in town were great and everywhere we ate was delicious. We were also lucky enough to have the caretaker Lisbeth make a few dinners and she is a great cook.……

“The house is just as listed, no photoshop needed here.Don't think a 4x4 is required to traverse the roads to the house, as we never used 4wd on our rental, but the peace of mind was there.Secluded, quiet, and the only sounds were the distant waves crashing, birds, and howler monkeys.Coffee in the morning in the outdoor living room, dinner at the outdoor dining table! All while overlooking the trees and the ocean in the distance.”

“The house was beautiful with an amazing view! There was plenty of space for our family of 8. Location was 5 minutes from town making trips for meals or supplies fast.We saw a variety of birds, howlers, capuchins, scarlet macaws and whales all from the property.We would stay here again.”

“Well maintained property near the beach and many restaurants. The property included a large covered outdoor patio with plenty of seating to accommodate group meals and games for our large party. We also loved the daily cleaning service. ”

“There were bugs everywhere. We expected some due to being in the mountains, but there was an excessive amount everywhere the entire time it was disgusting. House was nice view was amazing but the pool water was filthy . They just put more chemicals in the next day after I complained and it made it worse then we just have to swim chemicals. The host said they vacuumed it and we’re gonna do it again, but it was never vacuumed. Just use the pool skimmer and threw chemicals in. Description was not……
