「We enjoyed our time at Encantada Guest House and the ElCastillo area. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, with an extraordinary birding experience, this is it. The house is perfectly outfitted and comfortable, the grounds are gorgeous and the owner and staff are easily reached for any questions. The area is great with lots of great restaurants and friendly locals. We will most certainly be back.」

「If you value privacy and respect this is NOT the place for you. The Good: our family thoroughly enjoyed the Arenal area. Los Lagos was great for kids and adults. Hot springs,water slides and lunch, all for 100 bucks US. It’s a must visit. The area is gorgeous, if you have an extra couple of days it’s a great way to end your trip before flying home.The bad: This is ALL true.
