The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.」

「Pros: Lovely creek runs along back of property bordering on jungle, with gravel pathways around perimeter of property. When pathways are accessed in the dark use a flashlight, due to debris and quite dark at night. A large stand of bamboo provides cooling shade but drops lots of foliage. We saw a couple of frogs at night. We enjoyed good WIFI connection. Dining table and chairs are indoors as well as king size bed. The bed is very soft, yet comfortable. Safe is large enough for laptop computer....

「The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. Disclaimer the pool structure is made of a cement type of material and we did get some scrapes, but nothing too bad. Also, there is no jacuzzi it is simply a “water feature”. In...
