「I totally love this place. I had a private room with bathroom, and it contained everything I needed - safe, fridge, desk, and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was great, staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and fun. I found that it's the sort of place where you can be really sociable if you want that, but also just sit quietly and be alone. There are hundreds of places to stay in La Fortuna, but when I return next year, I'll be booking La Choza again. The value for money is fantastic. 」

「Very clean room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant had a nice selection and everything was delicious. Complementary one free drink. Free breakfast was very traditional andnice . Short drive to many beaches. 」

「Staff was kind and friendly but the beds are a little uncomfortable with hard to climb ladders. The sheets kept coming off and the entire bed moved when the top or bottom person shifted on rolled over. The toilet was broken and wouldn’t flush so you had to reach into the top water to lift the flap. We had the room on the outside so in the morning you had to climb out the bedroom window to access the kitchen and common area. 」
