“Lots of wildlife and trails on property. Close enough to everything but far enough that it’s quiet. Staff super friendly and having food available with their restaurant was a big plus. I’d stay here again if ever back in La Fortuna. ”

“Amazing experience. The grounds were so lush and beautiful. The restaurant was also great- fairly priced and quick. Drinks were soooo delicious. Also overlooks the lush trees and even saw monkeys from here!! Another highlight is the staff. Specifically Kenneth in the bar and Isaac at the restaurant. So friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. This is less of a resort feel and more mountain cabin, but still has really great perks like the jacuzzi - we went in every night. Amazing spot!”

“A beautiful mountain setting surrounded by nature and hordes of hummingbirds. We saw a trop of 15-20 Coati on the ride in one evening and dozens of hummingbirds at breakfast every morning. The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!”

“Aloha! We were kindly greeted by Esteban at the front desk. We booked a room with a mountain view and it did not disappoint. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was not a fridge in the room but the front desk will store them in the restaurant refrigerator if you would like. Though it was remotely located the place offered everything we needed including amazing food at the restaurant. We had breakfast daily, lunch and 2 dinner on 2 occasions. “I recently stayed at Brisas and can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and right at home. The view of nature on the property was unbelievable! I stayed in the newest building C7, and it was absolutely beautiful– the highlight being the new front and rear patio with a nice hammock where I spent peaceful moments soaking in the surrounding nature and view of the Volcano. “We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend……
