Space was perfect for our family of 4 specially with our teens that like to have their own space to rest and get ready privately. Loved the facilities like the pool and the gym! “The A/C was not functioning for the duration of our stay and despite reaching out to the owner on vrbo as well as by WhatsApp, the issue was not addressed. In addition, the patio did not have any furniture, so we were sitting on the tile floor to get fresh air given the cooling issues inside. Would not recommend staying at this condo for any length of time. ”

“We have stayed at this location twice (once with kids and once without. Both times the accommodations have been clean. The view is beautiful. Lots of bird watching. The grounds are kept tidy. Having a washing machine is a huge bonus just to reset. The shower was cooler this (second) time but I'm sure if we asked they could have turned up the water heater for us. But we only stayed one night this time so didn't bother asking. Great for both short and long stays. ”

“Such a nice, clean property. The bathroom was spacious, loved the shower. Great working kitchen. Close parking. It was a little hard to locate the property after dark. Good thing Google maps worked! “First rate construction, beautiful interior, incredible view. You will definitely need a car. Name of the property: Arenal Malaku Condos. Please note: you are about 1 hour from La Fortuna, or 45 min from the Hot Springs. Property manager never got back to us with the name of the condo, a phone number, or any instructions how to get there. If you put up that name on the Internet, you can find it under Google Maps. Internet connection at this condominium is extremely poor. There is no cable……

“Lovely and comfortable 2 bed condo. Beds were firm but comfy. Tiled floors and in suite washer dryer. Wifi is not great, lots of dropouts in service. Great views of the Arsenal volcano and lake. Restaurants are a short drive away, definitely need a car to stay. Lots of cookware and dishes, could use some basic oil and spices, only salt and pepper provided. Loved the 3 small pools and lounge chairs, steep walk up and down to them though. Easy self check in, easy to contact the property……
