Cozy at the Cozy Buffalo
This is our second stay at the Cozy Buffalo. It is perfect for our small family and pets! Close to all of the activities we enjoy and great to have the big yard to unwind in at the end of each day!

Fun at the Buffalo!
This cozy house is large and accommodating for a large group of people. It is in a great location for hiking at Palo Duro Canyon. The host had a nice welcome basket with snacks and water. There was also many brochures and maps that were helpful. The backyard is very large, with great seating areas. The only drawback for our family Is the step down areas in the house that wouldn't work for my elderly mother.

Cozy home and great location!
a very sweet and cute home. Cozy and comfortable along with being in the perfect location. Communication with property manager was great. Very responsive and accommodating.

We were in town for WT graduation, this place was bigger than we expected, we had plenty of room for friends and family over for dinner! Definitely will stay here again if we are ever in town again!

Great place for the whole family!
We absolutely loved our stay here! This property was super clean and had everything we needed for our large family. Great, safe neighborhood, with easy check-in and check-out process. Good communication with the property manager. Would love to return here on our next trip to the area!

Not enough sleeping capacity for 12
The listing boasted air mattresses, a sleep sofa and futons. The air mattresses leaked substantially; neither couch pulled out into a bed; and we could not find a futon.

Erika, I apologize for the upsetting experience you had. I was not aware that the air mattreses had leaks in them nor was I aware I market having a pull out couch and futon. I have already ordered replacement air mattresses, and I am looking into where my listings shows it having these additional sleeping arrangements you speak of. Safe travels thanks again!

Perfect location
We stopped over for several days to hike Palo Duro Canyon and we weren't disappointed. The house has more then enough space and a large back yard for my pup to run in. Communication with the owner was as easy as it gets he's very responsive to any questions. If you are looking for a place to stay in Canyon I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose this house.

This house is so huge, it’s hard to explain. Two large comfy living areas accommodate gatherings, while the three bedrooms were more than adequate to house our party of six ladies.

Canyon Texas rental
We were so impressed with the rental. It was very clean, had everything we needed. It was only about 10 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon. I would recommend the rental to anyone!

Cozy, spacious, and fun!
We came to see Palo Duro Canyon, the Water Park, and the 4th of July parade. This was a great home to relax, talk, and cook with our friends ans famiy. Kelby was a super terrific host: He responded to all of our pre-arrival questions, made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed, and was very responsive during our stay. The home was roomy, everything worked well, and everyone liked the comfy beds! The neighborhood was quiet. The backyard is very meditative in the morning. We appreciated the encouraging sayings throughout the kitchen that reminded us to be thankful to Jesus. The layout is L-shaped, so bigger groups can have conversations in different areas in the home and not disturb others. Overall, this is a terrific home to rent if you are going to Palo Duro or visiting your college student at WTAMU.

Good on cookware and TV
The house had all we needed for our 3-night stay. There is a lot of square footage in the house and a big back yard. We loved having Direct TV just like home. It's very welcoming to have snacks and bottled water on the coffee table. The washer dryer are new! Because of recent flooding, there was mild musty odor, which is a challenge because Canyon has had so much rain. Therefore to be honest, I rated it 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5!

Family Gathering
Great location in town. We had 2 sets of grandparents come in for our sons college graduation. The host provides starter Kcups and tea not mentioned so we were pleasantly surprised. We let the grandparents stay in the two bedrooms in the front of the house since there is a step down from the kitchen leading to the back bedroom since one of them cannot see well. House is large and a great place to gather. We would stay here again.

Canyon Visit
Overall good. Grounds in poor condition. Need to replace bedside table in room with king to a smaller one. Move bed out so you don’t have to crawl over someone to get out of bed. Especially with a sleigh bed.

Wonderful!
Our stay may have been a bit short & we may not have been at the house much but while we were there, it was nice! The only cons were the two beds in the very back, those were so uncomfortable but thankfully we didn’t have to use them. The house was very clean, quite neighborhood & nice neighbors! Super convenient to everything we were there to do!

Great location
The house is very well situated in Canyon, close to grocery stores, restaurants and an ice cream maker. It is also a short drive to Palo Duro State Park which was the reason our trip. Check in was easy and we had pretty much all we needed to cook. Kelby is a very responsive and helpful host (thank you!). We would definitely come back for a future trip!

Spring Break 2023
On a lark, we decided to visit Palo Duro Canyon for spring break. With less than 2 weeks to plan, we were searching everywhere for lodging. We lucked out & found this gem! Perfect location- mins to restaurants, the Canyon, grocery store, gas, literally anything you need is within 5 mins - 15 mins of this cottage. It was clean, well laid out, easy to find & super easy to communicate with the owner! Really great experience! Thank you to the owners for sharing this space with us!!!

In town for wedding
This is the absolute perfect house for a large family. Lots of space and in a great location. We were in town for a wedding and this house has more than enough space for everyone to spread out and get ready. Would definitely recommend!!

We had two nights and it fit our family well. The host was super responsive when we had questions. He even searched for a lost couple of credit cards after we left (we later found them in our bags)! We would recommend The Cozy Buffalo if you’re in the Canyon area.

I love all of the little things that help make your stay more convenient. This was a very spacious house and had a great location. The kids have plenty of room to play in the backyard, and the beds were very comfortable.

Good location to visit the canyon
The property is great, plenty of space for everyone even our dogs enjoyed the big backyard. Perfect location to visit the canyon about 10 minutes away. Good recommendation to local places. The only two things who need to be better at: - not enough plats/silvers for 4 people so since this house accommodate 12, you might bring your own. - good recommendation to the local restaurant, but it was mention we get a discount wish, it is true if have a coupon and the coupon wasn’t provide to us for our stay.

Lovely spacious house!
We really enjoyed staying at this spacious house over the long Easter weekend (5 days). The house is very cutely decorated and equipped with everything you need for a stay. We are a middle aged couple with young adult kids, one of whom is 6’8” so we really appreciated being able to spread out. It was a perfect house while we hiked and mountain biked Palo Duro. Super Bono’s that we were allowed to visit with our pups. We cooked all but 1 dinner and enjoyed eating in their large outdoor patio on a couple of nights. Hope they’ll be open again on our next visit to the area.

Comfortable and spacious
The house is unique. Every detail attended too. Fancy coffee pot and electronic entry stumped us simple folks a bit, but we got it. Large groups would really enjoy the space. I think if even convert the dining room to a bunk room and relocate the dining table to the front room. Maybe an early up bar on the step down area in kitchen for more seating. Because after all ‘The Bread is in the Bed.’ The house is happier with more people enjoying it. 😉
