Great house in a great location. Plenty to do around the area. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing and swimming in the pool. If you are in town for baseball tournaments, this house is great.

The house is spacious and well located. Pool was nice, but could be better maintained. Sharon and Michael were lovely, very helpful, and in constant communication with us. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

We had a great stay! The house was exactly what we expected clean, comfortable, and the pool was a big hit. The dock was perfect for the fishing lovers in our group.A few small suggestions:• The listing mentions a pier within walking distance, but it’s no longer there due to a hurricane, so that could use an update.• Essentials like toilet paper and dish soap were limited, so bring a few basics just in case.• We had 7 guests but only 6 towels would recommend having at least one per person.Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable place. We’d definitely come back

Cape Coral getaway

This is a beautiful well laid out home with room enough for everyone and close to everything Cape Coral has to offer. The pool/lanai and view of the canal is fantastic. The hosts are very responsive to all inquiries. Would definitely stay again!

Great pool and location!

We loved our stay! This house seems tiny from the front but it has a lot of space when you get inside. My family enjoyed the space by the pool. The pool was a perfect temperature and my kids didn’t want to get out! The location is perfect for going anywhere in the area. Thank you!

Great for a big family

This property was very clean and spacious. Great for our big family. The neighborhood is quiet and so cute and also very close to anything you could need/want. Bonus being right on the water. So peaceful at night sitting outside. I will note that we ran out of/weren’t provided with some basics such as trash bags,hand soap, paper products and the propane tank for the grill was empty. The kayaks also did not have any seats in them so we couldn’t use them which was a bummer since they were a big perk to the property for us.

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend. Sharon and the house were great. We enjoyed the outdoor area the most, especially the pool. The house was clean and spacious. It is a great location. We enjoyed the farmers market and the Boathouse Bar and Grill. Will definitely stay again!

Great stay

Booking and check in was easy. Upon arrival house looks small but don’t let it fool you. The house was very spacious and bedrooms good size. Lots of seating. House was clean and stocked. Porch and pool area were great. Brought our boat and it wasn’t far to get to the fishing areas. Conveniently located to stores. Host was amazing and answered any questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay, but will not be back

Overall I would say our stay was good. We were barely at the house because we rented a boat and were able to dock it at the house so we were on the boat all day. And at night we went to dinner places. The only request I had before I booked was a heated pool to 85° which I was assured would happen. A day before we arrived I reminded the property manager to ensure the pool was heated to 85°. The manager responded saying that's not an issue. We got there about 5:00 p.m. on a Monday and the pool was frigid cold. I was not surprised because of the other reviews I read. We literally did not need anything but a heated pool, and a dock to tie up the boat. The dock was fine to tie up the boat but there was one loose pillar. The "pool guy" was busy until Wednesday. He showed up Wednesday and said only one pump was running which was why the temp was not at 85. So in the end, this was a very easy fix if the property manager would have just ran the second pump and had the temperature set to 85°. Again, not surprising based on other reviews, but so disappointing becauae I was so proactive before even booking. 🙁

Great location... nice home... needs updating and CLEANED.

From the moment We got there we had a hard time with the key pad to get in. You can lock it but to get in Was not good. So we could not use front door to get in. Floors had dog hair on it, ice maker in door was not working. Host said it freezes up when not in use. However, pool was cold due to lower temperatures, (of which we expected) but listing says "heated pool"... host said the people b4 us shut pump off for some reason. So not sure why if someone was there b4 us why ice maker did not work properly. It produced ice if you pull it out from inside. She said they would crank up heater to the pool... but didn't. My son went out and did it. So on day 3 of the 5....we finally had a heated pool. Master bedroom/bathroom was gross. Hair in shower, floor not clean and sink was dirty. No liner in garbage just tossed behind door. No Real laundry soap to speak of. Just a small amount in a sandwich bag. House layout was great! 3 front bedrooms were great! Stovetop only had 1 burner that worked properly and we had to fix the Gas grill to get it to work. We liked the house location... perfectly location by the boathouse cape beach! Host always messaged back promptly which we appreciated. Would go back to same house if things were better and Cleaned... just because of spacious of home and location.

We arrived on a Tuesday evening . Approaching this unit looks small compared to the homes on the street but that is absolutely false!!! We walked into a magnificent family/dinning area that is open to a kitchen to ensure any sociable function is just that. We were treated with an awesome welcome basket that even contained treats for our dogs! So sweet. This unit comes with 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms. As we arrived we all had fun selecting which room would be ours. My father has dealt with back surgery in the past so selecting a mattress comfortable was always an issue to consider when traveling anywhere. But we were totally surprised to see all four beds had its own type of mattress and everyone found something that supported their needs. On Wednesday we found a nice local bar “Rusty’s” (1.2 miles from unit, 5 min drive). The vibe there was very homey and the musical selections were greatly diverse. The prices at this establishment were very affordable and even had an attached arcades to keep all ages busy. We carried our night out by staying in our wonderful rental unit playing card and having fun in the pool. On Thursday we woke up to go to the beach. Unfortunately, the beach was closed due to Hurricane Ian. We ended up finding a hidden gem within Cape Coral which was the Eco Preserve. We could tell Hurricane Ian had its impact , however being one with nature is always an exciting thing. We had a great time on the trail. We came home, we all played in the pool and fished off the dock of our rental (catch and release of course). We had lunch at “Fords Garage” (1.1 miles , 6 mins away from rental). The food there was delightful and they gave you great portions. We ended our night at Rusty’s. Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month they have Bingo with Trixie and let me tell you it is great fun. Mature audience only vibe. (If Bingo isn’t your vibe they also have corn hole tournaments and Axe-throwing). On Friday we were able to find an open beach, Lynn Hall Beach and we had a great time. Overall our experience was awesome and we can’t thank Mrs. Sharon enough for sharing her wonderful home with us.

Cape Coral Stay

My family and I love spending time in Cape Coral. We were devastated when the hurricane hit and were hopeful the area would make a comeback. I contacted the home's owner to ensure that the property would be ready for our stay in December. If it wasn't, we would completely understand. When we arrived at 4:15 for our 4 pm check-in, the homeowner was still with her husband cleaning the house. I was told the cleaning crew had celebrated a little too much the night before, and she and her husband had to clean. At 4:30, they left the house. As we walked the house and outside area, we could tell the property was not ready for our stay. A rug in the family room was still rolled up in the plastic in front of the tv. The kitchen sink mat still had the original wrapper on it. On the outside, an old rug was rolled up against the screen; the charcoal grill was partially sinking into the ground while the gas grill was sitting next to it in the grass. I later received a text the gas grill was broken, and a new one would be delivered in the next couple of days. A new one was rolled into the backyard while the old one was put on the backside of the house and told it would be put out Monday for trash pickup. The old grill was never put out for trash and thus sat there for the rest of our stay. Lastly, for the amount of money we spend for this rental, the furniture was out-dated and the family room had an outdoor table covered with an inexpensive cover. We have rented in Cape Coral on multiple occasions and have never had an issue with cleanliness or property condition. While we enjoyed our visit to Cape Coral and will be returning soon, we were extremely disappointed in this property.

Perfect location
