“Great place”

“Cannot recommend this Inn enough! It was so charming and the staff was very welcoming. The location is very close to the beach but not particularly close to eating options. However, the staff did a great job of providing information about this both in advance and during our stay. They also provided snacks on site, charcuterie upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. We were in the room with the in room sauna and it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It has its own exterior door……

“We visited the Tolovana for the first time in May 2026. The room we had was spacious, complete with a well functioning kitchen that we really enjoyed. The cost of the room, with expansive ocean views facing south, was very reasonable. Grounds were lovely and well maintained. We gave only 4 stars because there was no disclosure on the Expedia website about a pet fee to bring a pet. The staff says they have contacted Expedia several times about this and they have not corrected the problem -……

“On the bay, decor is beautiful, staff is friendly. We had a great time arching movies, dialing in the tub and enjoying exploring the nearby towns.”

“This hotel was charming! if you love history and antiques, this is the place for you. The 100+ year old elevator alone is worth booking this hotel. We had a beautiful bay facing view that was great! The room was period antique but not stuffy and the hotel owner Katie showed pride of ownership in all the details.”

“It wasnt we were expecting, it did not match picrtures online; it was rundown and was a repurposed single wide trailer. Check in was at 4 but it was not ready til 5:30 because they were unaware we had reserved it. The lake is beautiful but for the price and the place, go down the road a few miles and stay somewhere else.”

“Great beach view and walking distance from the quaint little town. Just a few minutes drive to the state park and we were visited by elk in the mornings. The staff offered us firewood and matches so we could enjoy a bonfire on the beach ❤️”
