"Overall a good stay. Cute, comfortable and clean pods. The perfect blend of camping and hostel. Was confused about how to find our pod and couldn't reach anyone by phone to ask questions. We thought we had booked a pod with two beds and ended up with one bed (i ended up sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag-a little hard). Other guests had the opposite; they booked one bed and got two."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our time! The cabin itself was cozy and well equipped with a heater, fan, broom, chairs and comfy beds. The property itself is super well located, but also felt quiet and peaceful. The staff was hugely helpful - we left a wallet behind and they reached out to help. We would love to be back soon!"

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "This inn was the best lodging during our 7 day trip to Cape Breton and Nova Scotia. After a long day of driving and hiking on the Cabot Trail, we were greeted warmly by the desk clerk who went out of her way to help us find a restaurant. The room, with a beautiful ocean view was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet that far exceeded our expectations in a roomy dining room with beautiful ocean views. After breakfast we enjoyed coffee on the deck listening to the surf. Lovely start to our day. Highly recommend this gem of an inn!’"
