“Timeless comfort. Really enjoyed our recent stay at this beautiful inn. The location is perfect - near the park and Lark street. Walking distance to a great restaurant (Rain), a liquor store and a cosy bookshop. What more could you need? The host greeted us warmly and we were given run of the house. Then we went to our room…words fail me. We were on the top floor (an impressive number of stairs but worth every step). The room had gorgeous skylights, warm brick walls, tall ceilings and light,……

“Our room and any others that we snuck a peek in were all gorgeous. The architectural details of this 1901 mansion are amazing. Old world charm but with plenty of updates like AC, WiFi, etc. Excellent made to order breakfast can’t be beat. Within easy walking distance to the main drag where most of the shops and restaurants are. Was a 10 minute drive to SPAC to see David Byrne in concert. Could have easily spent the day just relaxing at a number of spots around the grounds or inside. Would……

“Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed, but the door to the room did not fit properly so lots of light came through the edges. Also we could hear the guests above us ( we were on first floor in carriage house) tramping around at 6:00 am. It would help to carpet the floors. The breakfast, which was much hyped, was only okay. The ingredients were nothing special, for example the bread used for toast appeared to be off the grocery store shelf.”
