“It was clean, spacious and exactly as advertised, which seemed almost too good to be true! We had a wonderful time there. It was very close to the beach, but tucked in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the quaint but vibrant downtown. As advertised, the parking space was tight, but a medium size SUV could fit in nicely, and any parking in Capitola is a big bonus!!”

“We loved the space - the owners definitely made the most out of a very small space. The apartment is beautiful, well stocked with everything you need for a stay, and right by the beach. The only issue we had was that it was a little crowded - and bathrooms were tiny. Might be difficult for someone tall or wide to navigate.”

“We had such a lovely girls’ weekend at this beautiful condo! The location was absolutely perfect - just a couple blocks away from the beach, cute coffee shops, a convenience store, shopping, and so much more! The condo was clean, cute, and well appointed with amenities. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“Lovely spot within short walking distance to the beach to view the surfers, walk along the beach and watch the sunset. Its dog beach was our first stop when we arrived to Santa Cruz. It was great. Hiked in the forest of Nicene Marks to see Redwoods and Aptos creek day after a rainstorm. The Felton train trip was canceled due to high winds, but the Santa Cruz boardwalk train was running on Saturday as well as the rides which my granddaughter loved. No dogs allowed there or on the wharf. Loved……

“Checkin was easy and painless, the cabin itself is quiet and very relaxing. It had a full kitchen and we were able to prepare groceries there without issue. The road to get in/out seemed daunting, but our two wheel drive rental car made it fine even during intense rain. Michael was a great host and I would absolutely stay here again!”

“The location was perfect and so close to everything. The owner was easy to communicate with and kind. Pros- working tv with cable, hot tub was hot and clean, plates were nice and plentiful, beds were incredibly comfortable from the mattress to the sheets, couch was comfy. Cons- the trash in the kitchen was completely full when we arrived(we had to take it out). the bath tub in the master bedroom was dirty with hair in the tub from the person before us. The dryer in the outdoor laundry room was……

“My friend and I rented this place TWICE! Both times for work and it was by FAR the most brilliant idea ever. WAYYYYYYY cheaper than a hotel AND it was 12 steps from the water (12ish). Super cute. Awesome location. We will be back!”

“Our hosts were very accommodating from the start with our request for slightly early check in. Sorry for the trouble 🙂. We found the place had many unexpected conveniences like updated appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, compactor, etc) and more than enough supplied linens, towels etc. than we ever needed for for our 1 week stay. Super clean and the bed was comfortable too. They’re many special touches by like live plants and decorations made it feel like home to us. So, just what we needed……

“The condo was clean. The condo had everything we needed, plus more! We appreciated being able to use the beach chairs, toys, and towels. The owners provided a pack n play for our toddler to sleep in. The location was great, and we loved the ocean view from our balcony.”

“I come to Capitola often and this was my first stay here The apartment is so cozy and tucked away a couple blocks off the main streets so relatively quiet. The small kitchenette was well appointed for a short stay and had all the essentials. Foot traffic in the upstairs unit is quite loud (primarily due to hardwood floors) but I was otherwise to have respectful neighbors in regards to additional noise. Overall a very cute comfortable place to stay for an adult weekend getaway.”

“Although it turned out to only be two of us, it would have been fine for four. The only disappointment was the local restaurants were on winter hours which means they were open only Wednesdays through Sundays. Other than that, it was perfect for us.”
