「It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience....

「The initial communication from the host was good and a late check-in service was provided. I could give a five star review if a correct reserved room was provided. We booked a large room for a family of 4. However an attic room for 2 persons (only have one bed) was provided. It's too late, unable to contact the host to make a change.」

「Chiara, the receptionist was outstanding, helpful , with any request . There was a problem with the fridge in the room. Upon notifying her, she immediately offered other rooms . Hotel is slightly out of the way , but practically minutes away from center . The continental breakfast was nice. Service was great .」

I booked a double room with a pool view on hotel.com. But when I checked in, I found that the room is in the attic. 「This place is an absolute gem and Pitigliano is so worth visiting. We stayed there for only one night on our trip through Tuscany but wished we planned for a longer time. Everything was clean, the owners were so friendly, and breakfast was outstanding. We will come back for sure and can highly recommend this place to everybody - but for sure with small children in the room (the bunk-bed received a 10/10 from my girls).」

「Very friendly, enthusiastic front desk staff. Modern, upbeat with a musical theme - hence Ludwig’s, as in Beethoven. Beautiful grounds, very close to Lake Bolsena and a walking path by the lake. Easy parking. We loved our stay and would book it again.」
