The perfect stay

This was the perfect stay for our group of 18. There was plenty of room in the house - rather than feeling crowded, it was hard to corral everyone to be in the same place at once! The view was stunning and beautiful and there were lots of activities on the estate and nearby for our group of all ages.

Ocean views that are exceptional!

The house was perfect for our group of 15. Plenty of space. The views were amazing. Nice to be away from the tourist crowds. Disappointed the air conditioning in main house and master suite was broken but property manager provided fans and the cool night air was refreshing. There was plenty of outdoor seating and pool toys and towels provided. The kids loved the infinity pool, hot tub and putting green. The whole house is a gem in paradise.

Gorgeous estate on the Big Island

This gorgeous coffee farm estate was amazing! Peaceful and so quiet with all the amenities you could want or need. Plenty of room for an extended family of 14 to gather and have privacy when desired. The patio area with infinity pool, large hot tub, grilling area and comfortable furniture thrilled everyone. It was definitely the gathering spot, ready to use day and night. The dining areas indoors and out seated us all. WiFi extending through the entire house kept even the young members of the family satisfied. Puzzles and games were very nice for family time too. The KITCHEN! Wow! We all loved it, even those of us not too fond cooking and clean up. It truly was a place beyond our expectations. The local caretaking staff was so helpful getting us all settled in during the 1st couple days getting everything running smoothly for us.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, while also getting to see and do most all on our bucket list.Seeing the volcano the day after eruption, the green sand beach, black sand beach, parasailing, night swim with the manta rays, luau, seeing beautiful waterfalls near Hilo and so much more.

Absolutely spectacular place!!!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Spacious (6 bedrooms), clean, has everything you need and a view that is second to none. The sunsets were particularly beautiful. The host was very responsive and took care of anything that came up. I would definitively recommend!!!

Beautiful property with a gorgeous view

This property was perfect for our 2020 family vacation. The quarters were spacious and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor dining area. The only drawback was the very curvy road that lead to the property. If you get motion sick easily, be sure to take your Dramamine when leaving the airport. Cool sites to explore nearby are The Painted Church and the Place of Refuge.

This house is beautiful. Exactly as it looks in the pictures. Beautifully landscaped. Many exotic plants, waterfall, Koi pond. Great pool and hot tub area. Putting green. Lots of outdoor furniture with different places to relax. Great view of the ocean. Inside there many upscale details like hand carved doors, top of the line kitchen with everything you might need and more. There are 6 separate bedrooms. Each with its own bathroom, sitting area, TV. The house easily accommodated our group of 7 adults and 8 kids. We all had the best of time.

Elegant splendor in Captain Cook

This property redefines luxury. Its fine interior finishing is matched by the phenomenal view, which is complemented by the stunning infinity pool and grassy lawn area. We had 17 people here for a private event and brought in catering, and the entire group felt privileged to have been able to attend. The tone of the property is elevated by the unique waterfall garden on the entrance side, where we saw a gorgeous rainbow from clouds that threatened from the east but left us dry.

After reading all reviews all one has to do is experience this wonderful vacation home for themselves to come to a conclusion that it is better than one one can imagine or have described to them. We were lucky to stumble upon this paradise. What to mention 1st? The gorgeous view, sunsets, great and comfy accommodations, pool, hot tub, comfortable out door furniture, 3 hole putting green, fire pit, water features, well stocked home, being in the midst of coffee groves and fruit trees. We were sad to leave and hope to return.

The house is beautiful

We loved the house, it’s a beautiful property, the view is breathtaking, the kitchen has everything you need and more, there are 5 suites and the main bedroom, it’s great, but there is a big problem, the pool is not heated and the water was freezing, we couldn’t get in the pool at all, we only used the jacuzzi which is hard to do when you have 16 people in a house, heated pool would have made the trip perfect. Thank you

What a place!

The pictures just don't do it justice. Plenty of room for everyone! One thing that may be unclear is that this house actually has 6-separate suites, each accessed with separate keys. The master suite is attached is inside the main structure, the other 5 are outside the main, 3 down, 2 above the garage. This place is literally an oasis in the middle of what has to be the most well run (and quiet) coffee farm on the planet! Don't forget to enjoy the Bay View Farms coffee, I think it's the best I've ever had.

Fabulous home- unbelievable quiet and world winning view. You are quite a ways away from everything but if peace is what you want this is the place! This house is first class all the way- clean and very spacious for a large group. Unique entry allows for separate bedrooms like cottages. Everyone loved their privacy!

Simply Awesome

I was born in Hilo and raised in Honolulu. Since leaving Hawaii at the age of 18 more than 50 years ago, I have traveled the world and returned to the Islands for personal and professional reasons many, many times and enjoyed the full range of accommodations, including many VRBO rental properties. Nothing beats this setting and residence. The view of Kealakekua Bay off the pool is breathtaking, especially at sunset, and one never tires of the view. The house is expansive but not intimidatingly so and can accommodate a small group (6-8) as well as a large group up to 19. The surrounding coffee ranch with Hayden and Pirie mango trees along with papaya trees attract gorgeous yellow finches, white-eyed mejiro's, red cardinals, etc. This place is simply awesome. Our only issue was an aberrant smoke alarm on our last day but property managers responded in a timely manner and I am confident the issue will be resolved with the property owners.

Perfect Family Vacation

The Bay View Farm Estate House was perfect for our large family vacation. The place was spotless when we arrived and pictures don’t do it justice. Everyone enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and putting green. The lanai was the perfect gathering place for playing games and watching the beautiful Kona sunsets. The bedrooms were private and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was so nice and had everything that we needed to cook, feed and clean up for our group of nineteen. The 2 dishwashers made clean up a breeze!

Amazing home with amazing views

If you were a little confused about the 3 bedrooms with 3 additional sleeping quarters, let me clear this up for you. There is 1 master bedroom in the main area. There are 3 additional suites on the other side of the house, and 2 additional suites above the garage. As you enter the home through the big double doors, you will be greeted with the best indoor/outdoor living space you will ever see. View of the pool with coast line beyond. Behind the double doors, you will see a huge outdoor dining table by the grill. To the left of that foyer, there is a door that leads to the living area, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom. To the right of the double doors, are the 3 additional suites (king beds with own bathrooms). The property manager is amazing to work with, quick to answer any questions and have trash picked up during your stay of needed. With a large family of 19, the trash bins are kind of small to last us a full week. This will be our go to place the next time we come back to the big island. Thank you for having us. Mahalo!

After Christmas Getaway

This property is filled serenity & tranquility. The grounds are spectacular and the property was comfortable and accommodating for our entire family. We definitely would like to plan another visit and perhaps make this an annual trip. Our only recommendation would be to have access to other networks such as Netfli. & etc

Oceanfront bliss

This property was beautiful! The decor and furniture were great. Bed is super comfy. Despite this building having shared common areas we only saw other guests in the parking area. It felt very private. Even the furniture on the balcony is comfortable and so relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the waves.

Amazing property!

The pictures do not do this property justice. We had a party of 9 and there was plenty of room for everyone, the house is very spacious. There is so much outdoor seating for hanging out and watching the sunsets at night, which are absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool and hot tub were wonderful features, and an added bonus were all the pool toys that came with this house. Staying on a coffee farm is one of the neatest things you could do, we loved our stay here. Would for sure recommend this property!
