"Great resort. Big space- 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining and kitchen. Large porch with table and lounge chairs. In room washer and dryer with complimentary soap. 5+ pools and hot tubs. They had a borrowing shed where you could use beach toys, umbrellas, chairs. So much stuff to borrow for free. Underground, shaded parking. Walk was a little ways from packing garage to room but they offer a golf cart shuttle if needed. Over all a great experience! Our room was getting renovated next year- so def some older things but we didnt mind. "
"We loved our stay here. We only stayed one night because we had other places to explore on the island, but we would have loved to spend more time at Barbara's residence. It's a very peaceful place with lush vegetation and soothing decor. We spent the night in the Lomilomi room, which was beautifully decorated (refined, harmonious, serene) and spacious. We arrived in the evening, but in the morning we were able to enjoy the superb view of the sea and the cliffs in the distance from the room. Every detail has been taken care of, making you want to stay. I've never had the opportunity to sleep in this kind of unusual room before. On top of that, we slept very well, the bedding is very good. You can hear the faint sound of frogs, but it doesn't bother you at all, and if it does, earplugs are provided. I actually found it very pleasant. The icing on the cake was the excellent and varied breakfast prepared by the team, which you can enjoy on a beautiful terrace while admiring the view. I highly recommend this somewhat magical place.
Thank you, Barbara, for this wonderful surprise."
"Room was clean and it had absolutely everything that you might need for a nice vacation, starting with kitchen appliances and utensils, and finishing with beach chairs, umbrella, noodles etc."
"I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!"
