This was our second stay here and we still enjoyed it. The pool could have been a couple degrees warmer for us. But we did get used to it. The hot tub was excellent. The access to the lake was much improved and we enjoyed that.Overall we would stay there again in the future.

The hot tub was wonderful and temp was perfect. The pool was amazing , bigger than I thought. Everything I needed to cook dinner was furnished. Kayaks were also available. Close to winerys and antique shopping. We would stay there again. Thank you.

Great place to stay.

Loved staying here. Pool and hot tub were awesome. I have already booked another stay. Make sure you bring your own beach towels as not a lot of extra towels are provided.

Excellent Accommodations

It was a very lovely house with a lot of great amenities! The kids loved that there was a pool, hot tub, and a lake. The pool was a tad cold for the baby but the bigger kids had a lot of fun in it. The owners were very friendly and responded quickly whenever we reached out.

Sister trip 2023

My 4 sisters and I had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home. The pool and hot tub were a blast! The most impressive thing about this home was how clean and well cared for it was. Many happy memories were made during our stay and hope to return again.

We stayed Friday to Sunday a weekend guys trip since Mom was busy with our daughter and dance competitions. The property was as advertised, the pool was awesome, the fishing off the dock was good enough to keep my son excited since he was catching bluegills. Plenty of space for us. Highly recommend for families

Relaxing property on a beautiful lake

We truly enjoyed our stay on Lake of Egypt! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the Wi-Fi signal was strong, the two family room areas allowed us to spread out, the pool and hot tub were well cared for, the Bluetooth speakers were an unexpected but welcome touch. We were also able to rent a pontoon boat one day of our stay and our hosts met us at the dock with it. Communication with Al and Rhonda was excellent when we had questions. We highly recommend this lake home getaway!

Great family vacation!

Amazing! There were 4 kayaks and a paddle boat, indoor pool that was like a hotel pool all to ourselves, plenty of outdoor and indoor cooking apliances, and so much room. We had such a great time. We were sad to leave and hope to go back! We briefly met Al and he was very personal and informative. Dont think twice. Book it!

Great House with Indoor Pool

Super Clean, had lots of games to choose from. We had quite the Connect Four and Fooze Ball tournament going. Having two living rooms one upstairs one down was so nice for those that didnt want to watch the same shows. Only lil hiccup was the chlorine is the pool was too high and caused painful rashes with my nephews. We will be visiting again but will make sure the Cl and pH levels are where they should be. Definately recommend staying here if you have kiddos!!!

Perfection

The property was beautiful with something to do for everyone. The kids enjoyed the pool and the game room upstairs. Adults were able to have time on their own while the kids played downstairs. If we had a problem, the owner drove their and helped us. I can’t give enough praises!! You must visit this beautiful place!

Secluded and serene

The house was immaculate and the location was extremely peaceful. The pool felt cold, so the children didn't stay in as long as we hoped, but the hot tub was great. The beds were comfy, but the pullout mattresses were thin and full of springs. Would've appreciated a more detailed description, such as use of the washer and dryer, streaming services, and if the pantry and toiletries were stocked. Overall it was a comfortable stay and we would recommend it to others, as well as stay again.

Wedding gathering

The house was very nice and clean. We did not get to spend as much time at the house as we wanted to with traveling back and forth from the wedding site. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. We all talked about trying to go back again when we could enjoy more of the lake activities. It was very special that the family was able to spend time under the same roof.

Great Getaway

This place is awesome! We were looking for a quick autumn getaway and it did not disappoint! The house, property, and all of the amenities are top notch. There is so much to do in and around the property. We spent a lot of time in the pool and it was perfect. The weather was cooling off outside. I kayaked one day and would like to return during the warmer season to explore the lake a bit more. We utilized the kitchen mainly for breakfast and lunch. It had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. The property description and pictures are 100% accurate. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day.

Perfect Getaway on Charming Lake

Me and my husband stayed three nights at this property and it was the best getaway we have had in years! The house was exactly as represented in the pictures, actually even better. The pool and hot tub were great features that we made good use of and the house was very clean and comfortable. We went in the middle of a winter storm and were very impressed by the care taken in clearing the walkway to the home and the area around the hot tub. Despite a fair accumulation of snow, we easily went in and out of the house and got to enjoy the awesome hot tub. The only thing that may have made our stay even better would have been TVs in the bedrooms. Not a must have, but when visting in winter, a nice extra to cuddle down in the evening and watch a few shows before bed. We would definitely visit this property again, highly recommend!

Family vaca 2024

The property was AMAZING! Very clean and had everything you could need and so much more. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces equally. We rented the "property boat" separately and would highly recommend contacting the owners if interested...more affordable and flexible and fun than the marina boat rental! We usually "wing it" with day trips on vacation, but nobody wanted to leave the property...the dock, fishing, kayaks, paddle boat, indoor pool, foosball, hot tub, lake day, two decks and giant table for games kept us right at "home" and happy all week. Property manager/owners were responsive and kind. Highly recommend.

Relaxing and fun stay

We went for my husband's 50th birthday. My kids are 8 and 11 and had a lot of fun in the pool. We all played lots of foosball. We spent most of the time in the basement area and only used the upstairs to eat and watch tv after the kids were in bed. We went in the hot tub at night and it felt great after hiking 3 hours that day. There were also games to play. We didnt take advantage of any of the kayaks or the lake bc it was chilly for that in November and we only stayed for the weekend with our primary goals to relax, hike and celebrate.

Lakeview property

We really enjoyed this property for our family reunion and it had more amenities than we had time to enjoy. The house was very well stocked and it was obvious that the owners took great care to make sure their guests lacked nothing. While the weather was nice, it was too chilly to enjoy any lake activities, but the view was beautiful. Our only disappointment was the indoor pool was too cold to swim or enjoy. The room itself was nicely heated, however, the pool did not feel heated. We will definitely come back again- maybe next time in the summer to enjoy the lake.
