“Based on reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I had a good overnight stay there was no odd smell and the room was decent and clean. Only thing I don't agree with is paying a $25 fee for a fridge to be in your room per request and there is only a community microwave in the hallway. Other than that, everything was fine, staff was friendly.”

“This location was perfect for visiting Atlantic City, and we used it as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We initially booked for three nights but enjoyed our stay so much that we extended to four. While there weren't any cooking pots or pans in the room, we simply asked, and the owner graciously let us access the storage room to pick out whatever we needed. He even handed us wine glasses and offered a complimentary bottle of wine at the desk. Such a nice gesture! If we’re ever in the……

“The Flanders is an historic hotel and has maintained a sense of tradition throughout. You can envision men and women dressed in fine clothing walking about the lobby, on their way to a dinner gala or an afternoon tea. The hotel still offers a supper club that you as a guest get a complimentary membership to during your stay. The staff are gracious, welcoming and highly accommodating. The rooms are bright and warm, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the kitchenette a full size galley style……

“Poor management, poor cleanness, The WiFi provided did NOT meet there claimed. Get your own ready breakfast to be there if you still want to.”

“Our room was cute, nice and clean! It was on the second floor of a small cottage on the property. The steps were a bit much for us seniors. I would request a first floor room the next time. The faucet in the shower was very hard to turn on. I am surprised that Housekeeping did not report it for repair. The location was great to the boardwalk and beach! Would definitely stay there again.”
