"Overall ok experience. The hotel rooms were not bad. The hotel made a genuine effort to entertain guests. The most annoying part is there is CONSTANTLY someone trying to sell you something, be it the hotel staff or local vendors. I went there to vacation not to be harassed. If you go to the beach you WILL be harassed! I understand the hotel staff wanting you to be apart of their premium club, but if you didn’t talk to me upon my arrival then leave me alone. The facilities overall were ok. The restaurants had really good food and the service was IMMACULATE. If it wasn’t for us being harassed on a consistent basis I would return but that was deeply annoying. Maybe it is a DR issue. I have been to other countries and have not been harassed especially while at the resort."

"The resort as a whole was incredible. Snorkeling on beaches right at the hotel was great, even saw a couple of sea Turtles, exotic stingrays, and a tone of fish on the reefs without doing a boat excursion. The pools and slides were awesome with the river rapid ride. Places to eat are mostly around the Royal Tower and Coral, but the shuttles are super easy to use to get around. Every meal you can think of from Burgers and hot dogs all the way up to super luxury eating available on site. With all these great attractions the only thing missing was the all inclusive packages, but the put a $250.00 a night hold on your card at check in and everything at the resort can be charged to your room and the folio is right on your TV to track spending. Give the experience a solid 5 stars just expect to spend resort prices for everything including water and drinks. We did 1 excursion and it was awesome and took a cab into town for a meal and to do some shopping and tours. Got caught off guard by a cab driver who said I will wait for you and take you to the next stop. At the end of that trip a 250.00 cab ride for three and a half hours, but I guess maybe we didn’t ask enough questions."

Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino - All Inclusive

"This was our second stay at the resort, and we had another great experience! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. One tip: bring a hanging moisture absorber or dehumidifier bag, it helps with the humidity The food was good with plenty of options. The drinks were a little inconsistent depending on who made them, so if you prefer premium liquor, be sure to request it when ordering. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you run into any issues, I recommend going directly to Guest Relations, they were quick to resolve any concerns. There was always something to do, with lots of entertainment around the resort. The Boulevard is a bit of a walk, but it's definitely worth checking out. There is a coffee shop, gym, shops and at the end is the water park. Also, don't miss the beautiful waterfall pools at the neighboring hotel, you have access with your wristband, and they're a great place to relax! With booking through Expedia you also get 25% off spa services. We definitely took advantage"
