"Nice resort, great for kids. Positives- 1. room was very clean. 2. Hibachi was great and delicious . Highly recommend 3. Golf course was a fav by my husband 4. Great large pool. 5. Lobby is beautiful. 6. I was told the hotel was at capacity and didn’t have an issues getting a seat at the pool or beach and It didn’t feel crowded. 7. Loved the Beach on the property 8. Great staff Negatives 1. Nothing to do at nighttime. Some sort of live music at nighttime would be great . Even if it wasn’t every night. 2. Bar doesn’t open until 11am near the pool, Would be great if it opened for non alcohol drinks for kids who have been up for hours and want a virgin drink. 3. Kids activities are just “ok” and they require you to help. I have an almost 10 year old who would love a more independent option. Kid area was lack luster 4. When I closed our tab I questioned why parking was $27., not $16 . It was explained to me then it was for valet vs. self parking. I was never told about self parking option. Would have done that. I was only told to go to valet. Valet was really annoying, would have loved the self park option. We had many issues with valet. We ran into a major issue with the valet with very little help for the resort. Spoke to 3 people and didn’t get any resolution . Kind of annoying especially when YOU PAY FOR PARKING! $27 x 4 days felt crazy and I wasn’t told of the self park option conveniently 5. Some sort of mid day ice cream for kids would be great. ."
The Morgan Resort Spa Village

"We had an awesome stay at the Morgan Resort. I was celebrating my birthday and they decorated the room at my husband’s request. The cake and Prosecco were ready for consumption upon our arrival. The staff was pleasant each time we interacted with them. Carlos, Daven and the rest of the valet team were very attentive. We had a wonderful stay at the Morgan and we will definitely return to the island in the future."

"It appears that after Hurricane Melissa Jamaican resorts hired the best marketing team with top quality cameras to attract tourists. The food was mid, the amenities were acceptable to an extent and my room looked nothing like the photos. Culturally, the staff that I encountered were rude and seemed to not understand that without tourists they would not be employed. Getting assistance from most staff appeared to take an act of Congress. In contrast, there were staff that were accommodating and understood their assignment. Overall, I would not stay at Princess Grand again. I paid a decent sum of money and was extremely disappointed. Don't let the pictures fool you."

"Felt like a Vegas hotel, without the cigarette smoke. It is basically like a mega resort. Nothing personal or intimate about it. Paying close to $100 a day in resort fees, one might think that would include a morning yoga class or time on the pickle ball courts. It did not. One had to rent the court time, and rent paddles and balls separately. It occurred to us that nobody on hotel staff smiled. With a service charge of 15% added to every charge, there was no incentive for the employees to “earn” their tips. Food was mediocre and service was slow and impersonal. For the prices, we expected much better on both counts. Room was very nice with a great ocean view. But housekeeping never made it to our room before 3 pm each day. One day they had not come by 4pm so we ended up putting the do not disturb sign out as we wanted to be in the room after spending the day out. Overall did not meet our expectations- we will not be back."
