“We stayed for two nights and had a lovely time in June. We enjoyed the use of the dock and the fireplace right on the water was great. Situated perfectly for sunset. Check in and out was super easy and we were welcomed with the signature Kawartha warmth. Don’t hesitate if you’re thinking of booking. The room and bathroom were super clean. And we never heard neighbours in other rooms. ”

“Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. ”

“Very prompt replies from managers of the property, and the unit was clean, but nothing like what I expected from the online pics. The property is tired, is on the side of the road, not that close to water, and much over priced. The window air conditioner barely works. and is not suitable to support the entire cottage. The cottage, and grounds were also full of pesky ants. I really wanted to like the place because it is in such a beautiful area, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning to……
