Best weekend EVER

Was looking for a nice, relaxing, place to stay near a beach for a weekend to destress from life. Alex’s place is by far the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in. The backyard is an oasis, the house is SOOO nice, clean, love the layout. Brought my puppy along who equally loved the place as well especially the gorgeous backyard. I will absolutely be looking to book this place again! Thank you again Alex, wouldn’t change a thing =D

Excellent!!!

Tamarack beach house was exactly as described in the listing. As noted by other guests, the backyard was fabulous: spacious, lush and very private. The rental was just a short walk to the beach, immaculate, with plush amenities, comfy beds, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The host was very attentive, but not at all intrusive. Hope to return!

Charming gem!

Beautifully appointed 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath with all the comforts of home. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, clean and in excellent condition. Delightful outdoor areas with beautiful flowers. The host, Alex, was very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. We had a lovely stay and will return.

Nice little place!

The property was perfect for my family of five and two dogs. It has a lush backyard that was perfect to relax in. The location was just a short walk from a beach spot that was great for surfing and swimming. Downtown was also close with either a five minute drive, 10 min bike ride or 25 walk. We would definitely stay again.

Great place in great beach town

Our stay was wonderful! The house was very nice, three large bedrooms, nice big kitchen, the bathroom was nice and the beds were super comfy. We had seven people for Friendsgiving and we had everything we needed to cook. The house is just down the street from a beautiful beach that has a parking lot. Owners are very nice and very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Our best VRBO experience yet!

The home is in the perfect location we rode our bikes down to the beach multiple times a day! only 2 min bike ride, 5 min walk just a few blocks away! they have all the beach gear you need. The house was very clean upon arrival and stocked with everything!We tracked with two children and it was very spacious had high chair and pack and okay accommodations. The backyard is the most beautiful oasis and we enjoyed relaxing in the horrible every night! The host was very accommodating and great at communicating as well as organized and had so many wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to do! We have stayed in many VRBOs and this was by far our best experience! the train is loud but that's everywhere if you are staying close to the ocean. bring sound machine ear plugs etc to help. It didn't bother us much. Wouldn't change a thing. such a wonderful experience! can't wait to come back!

Relaxing

The home exceeded our expectations; it was clean, spacious and exactly as described. Home is walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. We loved the privacy of the backyard with the spa and bbq area. Great space to disconnect and relax. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to spend our spring break with our kids re-connecting.

Carlsbad Near the Sea

House was clean and well equipped. Located on a street with an I-5 exit. Easy access but a bit more traffic. The third bedroom seemed bright in the morning so a sleep mask might be a good idea. Short walk to the beach. Tolerable walk into town if one is in good shape. Good place for a family get together. No complaints about the house.

Great Place in Carlsbad

There are tons of greats reviews of this house, and I agree with every single one. I do want to add one comment. The moment you walk into the house, you do not get a feeling that this is a rental property. The house has a very cozy feeling. It is very rare to find amount rentals properties. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed at …. And I have stayed at many. The location couldn’t have been better…. Just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach!! Alex had all the beach stuff we needed. The house was sparking clean and absolutely adorable. The kitchen was super stocked with everything re: dishes, pots and pans, utensils, spices. The beds were extremely cozy and comfortable! There were plenty of towels, many blankets, and pillows. The backyard was a beautiful oasis with a very clean spa. What a special place to spend time with family!

Amazing Beach House!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this Carlsbad beach house. The location can't be beat...just a short walk down to Tamarack Beach. The house itself was even better than we imagined! Three large bedrooms and three bathrooms gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen...anything you could possibly need! The backyard was a relaxing oasis with tons of fun extras...hammocks, hot tub, multiple seating areas and such beautiful greenery! The house was equipped with more than enough beach gear including towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogey boards, etc. Communication was outstanding. Our host messaged back right away whenever we had a question. Would definitely recommend! We will be back!

Great stay

Such a cute cottage just couple minutes walk to the beach. I especially love the garden. The mature trees and plants are so beautiful. It's such a peaceful place to relax and disconnect. The house is super clean and comfortable. My kids liked it here. My only con is the front room doesn't have the same vibe/decor as the rest of the house. Other than that it was perfect. There's a plethora of pillows. Beds were comfy. The kitchen is stocked with all you need. The driveway is so convenient to park in the front. My only regret is not staying longer. We stayed at Legoland for a couple days prior and probably should've just booked here our whole stay in California. I highly recommend this place.

FABULOUS

I stayed here with my 4 adult kids and my parents (in their 80's) joined us for a part of our stay as well. The home is great and has everything you need! I was worried it would not really be close enough to walk to the beach but it definitely is. My parents walked as well. Alex was quick to respond to any questions I had and was very nice and helpful My only critique would be the extra roll away beds are twins. My (big) kids would have liked some bigger beds, but that is no fault of the home! I could have brought an air mattress but didn't. There is lots of floor space. The AC works really well! The backyard and jacuzzi were wonderful. I would definitely stay again!!

Fall break 2024

We had a wonderful stay Alex was great. His instructions were spot on. The home had lots of space for our entire family. There were six of us two dogs. The backyard worked out great for them. The spa was a delight after coming back from the beach. Make sure you clean your feet and all sand off and then it works out great. We stayed a week and it was awesome. Actually we probably will be back next year.. We couldn’t ask for anything else the home worked out great. We will be back. Oct. 6 thru 13 2024.
