「This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. The staff are both professional and friendly. The room we had was in the main building and was decorated in keeping with the building, clean lines and stylish. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and we also had the breakfast buffet which was good quality and varied. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.」

「Unfortunately upon check in, the room smelt stale as if someone else aroma was still lingering. The bed has marks all over the sheets aswell as crumbs, I assumed this could just be old marks and crumbs from cleaning person but it was everywhere. I then check under the quilt which had black hairs all across the sheet. The sheets were from the last guest. The floor also hadn’t been swept. 「I need to put context to my score. The building is exquisite. You see tradition seeping through the walls and the way it was restructured into mini suites works incredibly well. The location is also exceptional. The rest of services are limited but it’s a B&B so it’s totally expected. But the dust…the dust…was everywhere. However, the hotel has an underground parking garage, which makes it suitable for guests traveling by car.
