「The hotel is well maintained and presented. It feels recently refurbed. The room was good and the bed was super comfy! We had a rear facing room and it was very peaceful. The staff were bright and cheerful from the moment they met us to the moment we departed - that’s all staff, by the way, that we met. 「You have to pay for parking £5 for 24hrs then claim £2 back at the bar, this is not mentioned. Accommodation bath handles loose,peeling wallpaper gaps round window. Had to ask for a fan in heatwave which the lady on reception did find. Food standard. The fact they had delivers during the night meant little sleep as room overlooked carpark.went there 10years ago and was looking forward to returning i know wisk I had gone else where. Some staff where pleasant others not so much.」

「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay.」

「The Hotel has parking first come first serve very Narrow drive through alley. Does not have a dessert menu this is done by staff telling you whats on the menu it also does not have a wine list this is very limited. 」

The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. 「The welcome was great, and the food, drink and atmosphere was very good. There's not much immediately around it that I could find to do, but to be fair I didn't look that hard as it was a business trip. Would happily stay again.」
