“We have checked out, we were only able to stay inside the RV for about 20 minutes. The smell was extremely strong and made it impossible for us to remain any longer. This was especially disappointing as we were hoping to enjoy our wedding anniversary.”

“This is a very cute house with lots of space for sleeping and playing in the big yard. It is located in a small cul-de-sac near a park with playgrounds, so it’s a great place to stay with kids! The host is also very helpful and communicative, proactively checking in and even providing recommendations when I asked about good local beaches for kids. Definitely recommend staying at this property!”

“The backyard is full of stickers, not very fun to play in. The house photographed well, but was definitely not as appealing in person (shout out to the photographer). The bathroom needs a new shower curtain liner and the cleaning was bare minimum. Absolutely livable, not gross, but also not what I would expect to be a thorough cleaning before we arrived. ”

“The house is adorable and extremely comfortable. Both my husband and I were obsessed with the bed and the amazing wrap around porch. Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. Everything about the River house makes you slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of California. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into, with all the small touches that make travel nicer, and an abundance of fresh towels. It felt uncluttered but still fully stocked, which we appreciated. The house also has amazing decor. The location worked perfectly for us, just a short drive to everything in Monterey, plus a Safeway next door. The hot tub deserves its own mention. The backyard setup is genuinely great as it was private, well……

“We spent two nights here with our children, ages 5 and 2.5, and it was the ideal vacation home for our family. Our host was warm, accommodating, and quick to reply to any questions. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully suited for kids. Everything we needed was provided, including a wonderful selection of toys and books in the kids’ room. We would absolutely love to return for another stay in the future.”
