"A group of 10 ageing from 20 - 74. We all loved the house, lots of space and homely. The projector room was fantastic for movie nights and the games room went down a treat. The house was warm, plenty of hot water, the welvoming pack was an added bonus. We had no problems and would definately recommend as a big group. More kitchen utensils would have been better as the pans werent big enough and also we couldnt all sit in the lounges together as not enough settees.- we managed. Its a fabulous...

"House not cleaned properly, plug socket in middle bedroom hanging off wall, tv aerial cables hanging out wall in kitchen at fridge,leaking radiator in kitchen - reported to owner/management company on day 1 of holiday - no response. Had to put newspapers down to dry floor up, wall crumbling in corner of kitchen, paint flaking off numerous walls & in poor state of decoration. Have stayed in many holiday cottages which were all of much better standard - I would not recommend this cottage."

"This was an amazing cottage. The two large double bedrooms have en suites which was really useful. The bathrooms are lovely and modern whilst the rest of the property maintains its historical charm. The study, which runs next to the living room, was also really useful for us as it had a double sofa bed. Great having my son nap in there whilst we were close by in the living room. "Property was decent, clean & central for shops & beach. Unfortunately after a 4 to 5 hour drive to get there it took a further 4 hours to finally get the code for the key box to allow entry to the property. The property manager/owner refused to answer the three emails I sent him & never answered his phone to the phone calls I repeatedly made. We will not be using this company again if we can help it."

8/10 Good

"Super pub stay, nice bar, lovely staff, Ruben was especially helpful when we checked in. Bedroom very hot as if heating was on but luckily the fan supplied kept us cool enough. Restaurant was only open Thursday to Sunday but lots of great places to eat within 20 metres. Beer garden was a real treat."

"Only one person seemed to be about when we were checking in and she was serving at bar and answering phone as well. Nice big bedroom and bathroom but it was incredibly hot in the heat wave. We did find a fan in the wardrobe but it would have been handy if they had told us it was there. Had a drink in the garden which was lovely in the shade. Was hoping to try one of the pies for dinner that they advertise but they only had mince ones. I had fish and chips and my husband had ham and eggs, both were very nice but we had wanted to try the pies! Breakfast was cooked to order and spot on. Had to order what we wanted the night before. Waitress very friendly as were all the staff. No proper complaints. Would stay again."

"Lovely staff and a very comfortable stay. The property is located in a calm and quiet town, making it an ideal place to relax, especially if you’re travelling with your own vehicle. The building is very old and traditional, full of character, and has been well maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The property has its own restaurant where breakfast is served. It is a lovely, traditional restaurant run by an elderly lady who was very welcoming. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and a great start to the day."
