Great for big groups!

We had 20 people (10 adults and 10 kids) and it was plenty of space. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Steps from the beach and the pool was great when we needed a break. Rented our beach set up from Shorebreak Outfitters and Chris was great! Would definitely book again!

My fraternity stayed here for a beach retreat and it couldn’t have been a better experience. I’m sure we weren’t the renters they were used to but GG was a great host and responded quickly when we had any questions. I’d recommend this stay to anyone, whether it’s a family or just a group of friends looking for fun and relaxing beach weekend.

The beach at its best

Carolina Calm was the perfect place for our multi- generational family gathering. Spacious, airy, well-furnished and with incredible views of the ocean day and night. We had a few minor issues/questions, and the owner was immediately responsive. Far enough from the noise and commotion of the Boardwalk area to be peaceful, but close enough to walk along the beach for ice cream at sunset - that became our favorite thing. The pool is lovely and well-maintained. Field trips to nearby Wilmington were a delight, as was a day spent walking at Carolina Beach State Park. The battlefield at the end of the point has a new visitor center and is an easy 10 minute drive. Carolina Calm is the perfect mix spacious, clean, comfortable accommodations plus easy access to day trips. One of our best family vacations!

Wonderful

Our family lives far apart and we don’t get to see each other often. We filled up both units and it worked out great. It was absolutely one of the cleanest places we have ever rented. It’s beautifully designed and set up with great views of the ocean and the pool. Any little issues or questions were handled promptly. We were so glad we chose Carolina Dream!

Carolina Calm

The location is perfect, everything is accessible. Morning wake up is beautiful with the perfect beach front view. The house is perfect for big group, family and friends, where you can cook and gather together. If you’re renting the two units, the elevator is a hustle at first but you’ll get used it. My only comment is the access to the beach, there is no access at the back going to the beach. And if two or more people are taking a shower, the water pressure is really low. But overall we all had fun and enjoyed the house although we had experienced some minor problems, G our host was easy to communicate with and she answered quickly with us. How we wish we could stay longer. It was a great stay!

Family beach trip

This house worked really well for our family size and we really enjoyed the location and accessibility to the ocean. We contacted the property manager about a couple issues and they were initially very responsive except on check out day. We did have to rent a grill since the one on site has a rusted out bottom and several knobs that don’t work. The internet also does not work at the property. Otherwise it was a great stay and we had a great time. The elevator was clutch for my grandmother for avoiding the flights of stairs each day.

5 star seaside oasis for families - Carolina Calm

Our stay at Carolina Calm for Christmas exceeded all expectations, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and family-friendly charm. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the seamless accessibility of this oceanfront gem, thanks to convenient elevators providing easy access to all floors. The spacious interior was thoughtfully designed with families in mind, providing ample room for everyone to spread out and relax. The tastefully decorated living spaces exuded a sense of warmth and elegance, while the well-appointed chef's kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. One of the highlights of our stay was the direct beach access, via a private walkway connecting the beach to the home and a private deck with saltwater pool and tiki bar for entertaining. Even the December weather was perfect for beach walks and gathering seashells. One night we enjoyed s'mores at the outdoor fire pit. We greeted sunrises with coffee and celebrated sunsets with a glass of wine - the home offers 360 degree water views of both the Atlantic Ocean and intracoastal waterway. We savored moments of tranquility overlooking the endless expanse of the Carolina coastline. Carolina Beach itself proved to be a treasure trove of family-friendly activities and dining options, including waterfront restaurants serving up fresh seafood to enjoying lattes on porch swings on the Boardwalk. Yet, despite its proximity to the vibrant beach town, Carolina Calm offered a sense of seclusion and privacy that was truly unparalleled. The serene surroundings and quiet ambiance made it easy to unwind and enjoy moments of uninterrupted relaxation. The host answered all our questions promptly, provided free high-speed internet and Wifi, and the beds and sheets were exceedingly comfortable with the sound of the waves lulling us to a great night's sleep. In summary, Carolina Calm provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation, combining luxury amenities with the comforts of home and easy access to all the wonders of Carolina Beach. We are already counting down the days until we can return to this seaside oasis. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.

Nice location but manager could have communicated a lot better about landscapers showing up without notice and taking over the pool area. Also, faulty smoke alarms that made the fire dept show up.
