Perfect vacation spot!

We loved our time in Carolina Beach. Our condo was clean and comfy. Close access to the pool and beach, which we loved so we could come in for lunch and not have to drag a cooler with us. We also loved being close enough to the boardwalk area so the kids could have some fun in the evenings, but not so close that it was crazy busy. No complaints at all and definitely recommend!

Great location, easy access, nice kitchen and great deck.

It was wonderful. The master bedroom is a bit outdated compared with the rest of the condo which is bright but still very neat and clean.

Beautiful property!

Lovely oceanfront condo. Carribean colors inside. Well kept and complete with stylish accoutrement. Only problem was beautiful large big screen tv in main room had only one HDMI working which necessitated switching cable and blu-ray cords. A bit of a hassle.

We have stayed at several different places, this was the first time we experienced - linens were wrapped in plastic and we had to make the beds & put away the towels. There wasn't a broom in the place, 4 dust pans, no broom. Used a vacuum to try & keep up with the sand, not very good. Ice maker was leaking water into tray freezing all the ice into a chunk. Very little cabinet storage for food, all the cabinets are taken up by dishes, pans, etc. No place to shower off the sand when returning from the beach only a water hose with no sprayer, not as good as a shower. The view was great and the shower in the condo was great.

Beautiful view, easy access to the beach

We felt that this property was very accurately portrayed but I think that the view is much more beautiful in person. The unit was very clean and had the amenities we needed, we had no issues with anything in the apartment. A Keurig would have been nice but we survived! This is beyond the control of the rental company or the owners but it was irritating to hear people walking above us. They weren’t doing anything out of the ordinary, it’s just a pet peeve that I have! The pool was clean and easy to access, parking was always readily available, we were very close to so many different activities! The rental company was great, my only comment would be that I received several emails with loads of information, often duplicate information. But I appreciated that they kept in contact with us! If We return to Carolina Beach, I would definitely stay here again and probably book directly through the rental company’s website!

Good location

The condo was nice with new living room furniture The only issues were there were dirty utensils in the drawer. We saw a few bugs around and the bathroom in the master bath needs some work on the tub. The caulking is horrible.

Excellent stay

This was our 4th time staying in Sea Colony but first time in this unit. Property management company was very helpful and sent several communications regarding what we needed to bring and what would be provided. Unit was nice and well furnished. Showers could use some deep cleaning and new grout but otherwise everything was clean and well maintained.

Carolina Beach

Great for families with lots to do (ocean, surf lessons, jet ski rentals, kayak rentals). Location isn't great for bikes. We brought bikes but there are no bike lanes so they weren't used much. It's a quick drive (5-15 min) to most things.

Awesome location, but needs slight improvements

I love the Sea Colony location because the condos offer spacious rooms and over-sized balconies. Since this was a last minute trip and my go-to rental for the past four years just two doors down wasn't available, I selected this rental based on proximity and availability. The balcony has very comfortable raised seating to enjoy early morning coffee or late evening bottle of wine. There is also a full-sized kitchen, living and dining areas to stretch out a bit, as well as an abundance of puzzles and games to occupy your time during thunderstorms and cable outages. As I mentioned, the condo is spacious and offers most comforts of home. However, the king size mattress in the master bedroom was terribly uncomfortable and looked a bit questionable. This was by no means a bad place to stay, but certain things stood out that would make me look elsewhere in the future. For instance, there is a notice on the fridge that water-bugs were common in the complex, yet the daily early morning encounters in the bathtub and kitchen made us question the overall maintenance, especially since we never encountered water-bugs in our past 8 stays in the same complex just two doors down in 14A. The tub off the guest bedroom drains very slowly which indicates a blockage no one bothered addressing before our stay. Also, the rusty wine and bottle openers and rusty kitchen scissors in the utensil drawers raised another flag that maintenance may not be a priority. A visit to the dollar store could provide a simple fix or simply taking the time to throw them away. Despite our daughter using our shower all week, overall, we enjoyed our stay after going to Wal-Mart and purchasing roach spray, a mattress pad and a decent wine opener.

Perfect view

Aces on the location and view! Unit looks right into beach. Big and shaded balcony also. Free and easy parking. Towels and linens being included is great as well as a washer-dryer in unit. Unit was freshly painted and updated mostly, however, we fought over the one and only clean chair in the unit. Otherwise bring slipcovers or sheets or resign yourself to relaxing on kitchen chairs because the sofa and other chair were gross. Not sure why a dirty work bucket was in the closet. I had to spray down the master and closet with febreeze. Kitchen and laundry room seem to be a dumping ground for unused appliances and dishes. We literally had 1 small shelf to store food we brought. Clean bathrooms were great though.

Let me start with this, I’m a permanent resident on Maui, so I know beach and vacation possibilities. I stayed in Sea Colony 16A. The place is excellent! We had the linen service. The property was fantastic, well maintained. The beach is just a short walk away and although we had everything we needed for a beach stay Sea Coast can rent you anything you need to make your stay a perfect experience. And let me add this, Carolina Beach ranks right up there with the finest beaches on Maui. I would definitely vacation there again. Let that sink in. A person from Maui would vacation at Sea Colony again.

Great place to stay!!!

We loved this property where we have stayed in the past. However we were very unlucky this time because the unit above was doing construction work which sounded like they were inside our unit. Also someone either above us or beside us smoked a lot and the vapors drifted into our balcony. All of these things were not the fault of the unit or Sea Coast Rentals. The unit is very comfortable and had most things needed. We did not bring a tea kettle because the photo showed one but we could not find it. Sea Coast responded immediately when we could not get the TV to work and when we requested bath mats. Very impressive! The staff were all friendly and accommodating and check in and out was easy. We are very impressed with Sea Coast Rentals.
