「Fantastic week-long stay with my spouse and two dogs in October. Very clean house, large updated kitchen, nice updated bathrooms, front porch for sitting and enjoying river views, and the neighbors waive when they drive by! Friendly community who is welcoming to short-term renters—had so many conversations with locals. Enjoyed the easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and pier. Rented a golf cart to get around which was so much fun! Really quiet area which was exactly what we wanted.Host...

「The cottage is an older structure that has been impeccably renovated. It had everything we needed for a week's stay. Colonial Beach is not a glamorous ocean holiday destination. It is a rural community with a basic infrastructure on the Potomac River.」

「We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The bed was comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful. The cottage was very clean. And the hosts were top notch, there to help without being intrusive. We look forward to returning in the future and seeing this wonderful property and family again. on a side note, we were there for a local dog show but it would be a fabulous retreat for a city family wanting to enjoy the farm lifestyle」
