Weekend Beach Getaway

It was a wonderful stay, wonderful property with all the amenities needed. Felt like we were staying at a hotel. Great location, walked to the beach and dinner. Property was just as described, would stay again.

July Vacation

Great accommodations and location. Will stay again in the future. Might want to check the ceiling fans and lights electrical connections. Turned on by themselves a few times.

Beautiful place by the beach

This adorable, stylish apartment has everything you need, and if it doesn’t, the maintenance guy is great to get it. We stayed in January during a cold snap and the little wall heaters didn’t quite do the job but the maintenance guy brought a space heater for us the day we called. The britta filtering pitcher in the fridge also had no filter but the maintenance guy replaced that too. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever had at a rental place and the pillows were great. The decor was beautiful and the location was so close to a nice quiet beach. There were beach chairs in the closet but no beach towels (so bring your own). The place is also within walking distance to restaurants and cute shops in downtown Carpinteria. The owner of the place was impossible to get ahold of but if you just call the emergency number listed, you’ll get the main maintenance guy who will take care of you. The owner needs to put weather stripping around the front door as there’s a full inch of daylight (and cold or hot air coming through it) and at least a half to quarter inch on the sides. Also, we had problems with the internet initially but the call to the emergency number/maintenance guy got that resolved as well. Initially, we just didn’t know that we could call that emergency number because it said for emergencies only. However, we couldn’t get a hold of anyone else at any of the other numbers. But we would definitely stay here again.

Great rental!

Would definitely stay here again. We stayed with our two kids and had a great time and were all accommodated. Appreciated that they had shampoo, conditioner, soap and a blow dryer. Only actual thing we disliked was that there wasn’t a real coffee machine (but there was a keurig with k-cups provided), a small inconvenience! Location is perfect, too! 2 blocks from the beach and a couple from the main strip of Carp!
