More than expected.
My oldest daughter was getting married and we had two of our other daughters and two grandchildren with us. The 4 bathrooms came in handy when getting ready. The house was equipped with more than expected with cooking and service utensils and serving platers and bowls. Lots of little extras such as popcorn, hot chocolate and tea. We enjoyed our stay had plenty of room and the house seemed as we were in our own home. Thank you Leo and Tia Blickley we had a spectacular 4 days.

Spacious and comfortable
Our family really appreciated having so much space for our stay. We needed a place for two weeks with our dog and our kids, and everyone enjoyed it. My husband was able to work from the office desk downstairs, the dog enjoyed the backyard and beach nearby, and the kids enjoyed the big living room and tv. The laundry was convenient, the kitchen was well stocked with tools, and most importantly there was a bottle of wine :) The one room facing the freeway was a little louder at night than the others, although the kids did not care and we used sound machines. We’d definitely go back.

Leaves much to desire
We stayed 4 days and 4 nights at this place, costing 3K. The place was reasonably clean but the carpets had stains and the walls too. The place definitely can use a fresh coat of paint. Fixtures, furniture, linens, towels and everything else is very dated and average at best. The kitchen was not well stocked - no ziplock bags or Saran Wrap or Aluminum foil. We had to get coffee, sugar. There were left over cookies and tea bags from who knows when in the kitchen cabinets. One set of place mats was old and warped. The trash bins in the bathroom were without liners. The front and back yards were nicely landscaped and pretty

handy location, reasonable comfort, but cleanliness issues
Reasonable place for 6-7 people close to Santa Barbara/Carpinteria LOCATION: on higher speed arterial behind a freeway not great for aesthetics, but it is easy to access for car/bike outings, while not great for walking. Freeway noise is tolerable. The rooms are convenient, including main floor bedroom w/ futon for avoiding stairs. VIBE/SETUP: functional & pleasant enough but not going for a "destination" feel. While mostly "as advertised" a few thing were not quite accurate/inadequate: utensils/flatware/dinnerware were spartan in places (few flatware items – needed to hand wash before using dishwasher), missing scraper/spent spatulas/etc, no garlic press, tho specialty items like mixer were there. We had to buy foil, saran wrap, etc.. The master suite was described as having a "Jacuzzi tub". It was neither Jacuzzi brand nor jetted. CLEANLINESS: weakest point. Sheets/comforters visibly soiled in downstairs bedroom - we had to wash. Similarly, we had to hand wash numerous few plates/utensils ourselves. Insides of bdrm drawers were dusty, so we spent some time dusting things so that we could put our clothes in the drawer and not have them get dirty. Wall-to-wall carpeting upstairs is "tired". Bathrooms not all stocked w/ TP but we found from other places. We should have asked for a break in cleaning fee. OTHER: providing charging, beach toys, basic bikes = nice. Correspondence w owners good at times, but not responded to at others (e.g. when alerted to cleanliness issues).

Nice large house
The house is large and comfortable. The ev charger is a nice bonus. Kitchen is well stocked. The only downside is that it is right on the freeway and we could hear the cars at night. Not too loud but noticeable. The location is between carp and Summerland so you can’t easily walk to anything. 5 min drive.

Great for a weekend stay!
The Toro Canyon home was perfect for us. Close to relatives and super easy access. Spacious and well appointed. Renters should be prepared for highway and frontage road sounds and road lighting. Would recommend!

Weekend Wedding Celebration
We travelled to Santa Barbara from Oregon with two other couples to celebrate the wedding of very close friends.This was a great location for the weekend festivities on the beach and in Montecito.The weather was perfect and all our needs were met with what time we spent at the house.Everyone slept well in spite of the late night traffic which did not seem to bother any of us.

Great location
This is a convenient location even though the freeway is closeby you really can’t hear it. The property is spacious with all the creature comforts. The owner also allows you to use some of their personal recreational items! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Perfect for a multi generational stay.
The six of us felt the accommodations were great for our needs. Nice to have four bathrooms and a fully outfitted kitchen. Deck and front yard are lovely. Street noise took some getting used to given the desire to have open windows to catch the breeze.

Family had plenty of room. No waiting for bathroom with 4 of them. Air worked well. Close to Summerland & Carpinteria. Nice little patio. Plenty of blankets & pillows. Would stay again.

perfect stay
This house was perfect for our family of six. There were four bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The community space was plenty big for not only us but our two dogs. Although it was close to the freeway we did not hear the traffic. Getting on and off the freeway to head to Santa Barbara was very easy. We also went to a dog beach about two miles away that had a convenient dog bathing facility. If you are looking for something in or near SB this place works great.

Exactly What We Needed
The space was exactly as expected and was perfect the perfect size and space for our group. Plus, this allowed us all to stay together (we all live in different states) affordably instead of renting separate hotel rooms.

Niece’s Wedding
The house was perfect! We each had our own bedroom with private bathroom. We had dinners in the dining room where we could talk and laugh together. It was a quick drive to the wedding venue in Santa Barbara. The owners were so nice!

Soooo easy, first time I’ve ever done a VRBO rental….the house was lovely and the amenities were more than adequate. The garage door opener we were unable to locate but the upstairs neighbor helped us with that…. We shall be back!

Great location and price.
Stayed here for my daughter’s basketball tournament. Nice big house with all the amenities. Nice backyard to hang out. Easy to get on and off the freeway. Had a small issue and the owners and they were quickly responsive. Price was equal to staying at a decent hotel in the area. This was much more preferable.

Fun weekend in a lovely home
Home is very comfortable. Easy access to major highway. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom! Like the floor plan as it is open and has a lot of nature light. Good value for the money.

Convenient location
Great location, although it is on a busy street and backs to the freeway so there is road noise. We really appreciated that each bedroom has it's own bathroom which made it great for all of us getting ready for a big family wedding

Really spacious house with all the needed amenities in a great location (just a few minutes from Santa Barbara and Montecito). It was nice having a bathroom for every room! The cleaning felt a little rushed and we saw a lot of ants in the master bathroom.

Everyting was excellent...inside the home! Traffic patterns and noise are a minus due to heavy HWY construction outside but inside the home is well worth the stay for the extra space and the locations has easy access to the beach. I would stay again. Thank you, Leo and Jade!

Super location for Santa Barbara area activities!
It was a great place especially for families. We were two grandparents in our 70’s, two parents in their 40’s, & 4 grandchildren from 12 to 15. We especially enjoyed having two master suites, and 4 bathrooms 😀

Amazing.
The place is nice and comfortable, close to places that we wanted to visit. Quiet neighborhood, although the road is a bit busy, didn't have a problem get in and out of the driveway. Beaches are so close to the beach, kids really enjoy it. We had a great time, had everything we needed. Thanks.

Grad Weekend Celebration

Good value - sunny and pleasant
Leo and Tia were quick to respond to my questions. I had mentioned a broken toaster and they replaced it within 1 day. We had a pleasant stay- there were 7 of us. The property is very close to Rt 101 which was OK because of a sound barrier. The house is on a moderately busy road so one must be a little cautious pulling out if you didn't back in. In the bedroom downstairs there is a futon which we had a little difficulty with- it is not as large as a Queen and the other problem is the back cushion is a little lower than the seat. Both must be put together to form the bed and was not the same height. But we put a blanket under what was the back cushion and we got to the same height. We then put the fitted sheet on which held the 2 cushions together. We used the back patio which was sunny and pleasant. The tenants that live above the garage were no problem at all- they weren't noisy and we barely saw them. We stayed 4 days and had an enjoyable experience. I only mentioned the traffic noise because some may prefer a quieter location but it really didn't bother any of us.

This was a great location. It’s close to restaurants and the beach. The house had everything we needed and communication with the owners was easy. My only note is there is a slight ant problem throughout the entire house. It’s nothing crazy, but it is noticeable.

Amazing Get-a-Way
The adults and kids loved the property and were sad to leave. It had all the comforts if home and more. The location is great since it conveniently located between Santa Barbara and Carpinteria with our choice of Carpinteria as our go-to place. Leo, the owner, was so helpful with some of the questions we had. The watercolors on the walls by Tia were amazing and beautiful. Thanks for everything. My son's 40th was outstanding even with a cast on his leg.
